Before the maze was constructed, there was the ancient empires known with their magnificent powers.

When the ancient empires were being weakened day by day with their continuous wars between them, a man who called himself as dark emperor showed up and declared war to every empire.

Many empires and kingdoms fell in the wind of war that caused by the dark emperor.

While the hopes for the peace were almost lost, Forgotten Masters constructed a maze to protect people from the war of the ancient empires.

Maze succeed to protect the people from the war of the ancient empires and even from the dark emperor himself.

Years have passed but the history never changed.

When the people started a new war inside the maze, Arthur woke up in a dark dusty room and just managed to survive somehow but with a problem, who was Arthur?

This is the story of a man, who tries to learn his past while the bells of the war is ringing.

Maze of the Forgotten Masters

Tavern was now quiet. Tables were flipped, the glasses were one the ground. The door of the tavern was fully opened and the bartender was trying to find his sword.


Arthur, Elizabeth and Ragnar were looking to each other and they were not speaking.


Because Arthur asked one question, one question that was probably one of the most important questions he could ask, "What did you find?"


Arthur's thoughts were now certain that, they should have done something to attract the dark magicians.


There was probably nobody who knows dark magicians better than him. His knowledge about them was not clear at that time but he knew that dark magicians were looking for something.


Elizabeth spoke, "You should talk with Ragnar. I'm going now."


She left the tavern with all sadness of her.


Ragnar was now awaken for real and ready to talk with Arthur, "Why are you so angry?"


Arthur sighed and spoke, "Why are you here Ragnar and more importantly what did you find?"


Ragnar stood up and asked, "Depends on what you are looking for."


Arthur didn't want to waste time, "Listen, we don't have much time."


Ragnar, "Okey, I get it. I will tell you but just know that I don't know you well. I will just tell it to you since you are a dragon knight."


Arthur, "And you knew this all the time?"


Ragnar, "Do you want to know what we found or not?"


Arthur understood that Ragnar knew it from that start, "Okey, tell it to me."


Ragnar started to walk to the door and while walking he spoke, "Follow me. I will show you something really important."


They got out from the tavern and started to walk to the big house right next to the tavern.


While they were talking Arthur noticed that the villagers were not in the village, "Where are the villagers?"


Ragnar answered, "There are no villagers in that village. They immigrated to different lands hundred years ago. After the battles in the center of the maze some people, mostly maze travelers, started to settle to these lands and started to watch the temple of the Forgotten Masters."


Arthur, "Ah that temple, the place at the center of the maze..."


Ragnar, "Did you know something about it?"


When Ragnar asked, Arthur remembered the old dark days of the maze when the dark emperor attacked to the maze.


The temple was at the center of the maze that Forgotten Masters were spelling their magic in here and protecting the maze and the people inside with the power of the maze.


That was why the dark emperor came to the temple to get the keys of the maze that would allow him to use that power.


But an unexpected fight changed the history. Dark emperor clashed with the last family member of the Castfort Royal Family, Prince Arthur.


Arthur was the only person the Castfort family that considered to be weak. He abandoned from the family and his claims on the throne removed by the Emperor of the Castfort Empire.


He was the man who seem to be as a weak and useless man.


Arthur wanted to prove himself that he was worthy to be in the family.


But he couldn't achieve that since the heir and the other siblings of him were stronger than him.


Castfort Empire entered to a war against the Dragons as their dwarf allies being attacked by the dragons.


When the empire entered to the war, he traveled to the kingdoms of the dwarfs and met with a lot of people.


After traveling a lot in the kingdoms, one day the city he was staying got attacked by the dragons.


That was the day that Arthur clashed in a real battle for the first time and he got captured by the dragons to negotiate with the Castfort Empire.


When the peace time has came, the Castfort Empire didn't even mention about him. They just left him to his destiny.


Ragnar asked to Arthur, "Hey what are you thinking about? Come on I have to show you the key that we found! We are really lucky."


Arthur got out from his thoughts and spoke quickly, "What key?"
