James is a writer who was dumped by his girlfriend. Right now he's in the lowest position in his life. Through his depression and see the dark side of people. He meets with peoples who will change his life. 
While he struggles with his problem, he realizes now he can see people from their hearts. He can see everybody have their gut underneath their smiles. 
James also learned new perspective while struggle with his mental health. He and others will gives us their mind and though.

Diana couldn't see right into his eyes because she knew it would ruin her plan on apologized to his face. She wanted to tell the truth because seeing him walked away from her was the hardest thing that she could imagine, even though she knew that he would be back again, it still made her afraid.

"What do you mean it would hurt me?" James asked slowly because Diana sat right next to him and her hand made him calm than before.

She held it tightly and hoped he wouldn't snap or yelled at her, and she had ready for the possibility but James couldn't do it. Seeing her acted like that, he knew that Diana had felt sorry for what she did before and so did James. He knew what he did was childish and they wanted to start again.
