James is a writer who was dumped by his girlfriend. Right now he's in the lowest position in his life. Through his depression and see the dark side of people. He meets with peoples who will change his life. 
While he struggles with his problem, he realizes now he can see people from their hearts. He can see everybody have their gut underneath their smiles. 
James also learned new perspective while struggle with his mental health. He and others will gives us their mind and though.

She slowly eyed James, tried to catch the conversation. "About what?"

He stared at her, there's still little indecision inside his heart. There's some thought that told James to stop but he gathered all the courage to spit it out. He couldn't hide this anymore, it felt horrible when Alice's around.

Be strong James! It's now or never! James light another cigar straight away when it started comes to an end. He felt nervous and uneasy. Cigar and wine were the only things that make him calm, it prevent his heart from jumped out from his chest.
