*1 year before the Bomb*
Hell
That's one word I would use to describe this God Forsaken world. Poverty, Global Warming, Social Status, Unfair Justice Systems, Political Leaders and the most important thing separating everyone, Religion. My beliefs are one that most people don't know really know about, but because of how close-minded people are today they probably would not agree with it anyways. Satanism is my religion. For most people their religion is forced upon them by their parents, force to follow someone else belief at a young age without any ability to question the morals they are taught.
For me I wasn't forced to follow Satan I learned about him myself My mother is a catholic, so I grew up with the knowledge of a man who 'saved' humanity by dying. I didn't understand how we could believe in someone like the so-called Jesus Christ. He was weak, he had a chance to save his people and make a different on 'his earth', but instead he let them kill him and string him up for everyone to see. Anyways this story was written many years after he died by people who didn't even know him. So, why should people believe in what was written in the bible, but that's enough talk about them. I chose this religion. I had to learn from social media and google. I even bought satanic bibles that I had to hide, obviously. Eventually I found myself so deep in the community that I was invited to my current Temple, The Satanic Temple of Los Angeles.
My childhood wasn't what everyone thinks when they look at youth. I was a baby made from evil. The creation of something that doesn't like to be spoken about but happens on a regular basis. For years my mother resented the abortion she wanted, and she took her resentment and anger out on me. My mother has always been a huge pain in my side, I was never good enough for her. I had to endure constant verbal abuse and neglect from her for the 16 years I lived with her. She hate me and my father. For all this time she has abuse me almost as if it was her revenge on him. She wouldn't even tell me who my dad was. Until I decided to sell my soul to Satan.
My ritual was rejuvenating and helped opened my eyes to the bigger plan, but looking back at it, it was something I did not expect. My mother was gone for a late-night shift at the hospital and I was on my last straw for trying to sell my soul. See, selling a soul is much more than asking once then it is done. Satan has to smell your commitment; to see how long you are willing to sell. I remember I sat at the edge of my bed and kept my head down with my hands placed on my lap. "Satan... Great lord, I summon you." I calmly said, it felt like my heart was going to leap out of my chest at the thought of Satan being here and it took me a little while to calm down and regain my thoughts before I continued "I have a quality soul to sell if the prices and demands are met." I sat there and waited for awhile. There was cold breeze from my open window that lingered along my body making small goose bumps appear but, soon after I didn't feel cold. I felt scorching hot. It was as if a magnifying glass was placing the suns rays on my skin.
"Yes, my child" a deep and raspy voice said. I kept my eyes closed and head down in respect. It was him you could smell the alcohol on him, and his voice held no accent, "Look up dear" he said. Slowly I look up to see someone I wasn't expecting. He didn't look the way people described him. He wasn't deformed, red or ugly he was surprisingly handsome. He was fair skinned and had longish brown hair but, the one thing that made me capture him in my line of view the most was his eyes. They were a beautiful blue that made crystals look dull. They were different thought and made it clear that he wasn't from this world, they pretty much glowed and had a marble texture to them. The man also gave off this musk of sexual tension leaving everything to feel very heavy. "What is it you want to bargain, my dear" he said crouching to be at eye level with me.
"I need strength... with whatever distresses me in my life, so I can have the power to make my life better. In return my soul is yours" I said. My knees were weak and my voice shaky. For him to be here was a big surprise but also a great honor. By doing this not only do I get a good ranking in the Satanic Society I also get a good place set out for me in the after life. Even though most people have met Satan nobody actually knows the real fate we have after death.
Satan grabbed my chin, so I face him "And you are sure you're ready to pledge yourself to me..." he said moving his head closer to me. Our mouths were so close to touching and all I could taste when I licked my lips were bourbon "...mind and soul?" he whispered pulling me closer by the waist. I closed my eyes because I could feel the hard on that he held under his dress pants and swallow the lump in my throat only to nod. He didn't need much convincing considering the next thing I felt were his lips crashing on mine. This was no normal kiss though it felt as if a light from within was being pulled out and into him. Once all the light was gone, he stumbled back and wiping his mouth he then moan a bit and stood up straight. "Tastes sweet..." He smiled "But that isn't enough." He said fixing the cuffs on his suit
"What do you mean, my lord?" I asked looking wide eyed at what he was going to ask me.
"I need you to get rid of the ghastly woman you live with. So. in other words kill your mother and the deal will be complete." and in the blink of an eye he vanished.
I found a lot of joy in killing my mother it felt like I let a weight off my shoulders, and I was free. I was also able to find the paper that she held that had my fathers name on it, Lonny Montgomery. It had all his information on it, including the confirmation that I was his biological daughter. With all the information I moved across town to find him. He flipped my entire life around. When I showed him everything, he welcomed me with open arms and made his spare room a room for me to design. I also found out that Lonny was an original Co-operative member and help great power among the satanic people. He is the man who made me feel happy, ... wanted. I owe everything I have to that man and well Satan but, I would do anything for Lonny.
I've now lived with him for 7 years making me 23 and have become one of the employees for Jeff and Mutts RD department because of him. I love working there. I was the customer service manager and was able to boss most people around all day. I have to admit though most day were boring, but I wouldn't trade this job.
Today I spent my last day off with my Dad and he made us a special lunch. Unfortunately, he wasn't feeling the greatest, so I've been taking some time off work to take care of him, but I return to my job tomorrow. "Thank you, Dad. How are you feeling today?" I asked trying to start a small conversation.
"I don't feel a whole lot better but, I appreciate the time you took off work for me" he said holding my hand. I pulled his hand up and kissed it. " Oh, I have some news that I think you'll enjoy very much Malia" he said almost jumping out of his seat. My dad was a fairly good-looking man. He was a tall man of 6ft he had short black hair, a full beard and his eyes were a murky brown. His hand permanently stain with greasy because of his love of machinery. "The 'Co-operative' has called an emergency meeting. They say our saviour has risen" he said smiling.
The Saviour, also known as the man most of the people in my new life have been waiting for. The Anti-Christ. The man I was waiting for. He was the child born of spirit and human. He was going to bring the end of times. He will be the one to burn this ugly world down and create a more structured one considering 'God' failed. Even though I have only been a Satanist for a short time I feel as if I have been waiting for the saviour forever.
"Me being sick and all I want you to go and meet him. It will give this family great honor to know that we were one of the first people to meet him" He finished waiting for my answer to his request. I felt pressured, its crazy to think that I now have the opportunity to meet The Anti-Christ. The man said to bring us all to a better time.
I was completely speechless I sat there and holding my dad's hands with my mouth hanging open. Looking at Dad he gazed into my eyes with a spark of hope that I would says yes. I swallowed the lump that wandered in my throat and finally said "I will, for you. When do I leave?" I asked trying to hide my excitement for this surprise trip.
"Jeff and Mutt have agreed to arrange a flight for you and a place to stay at the island with them for 3 days. You leave in 2 hours so, go get ready and drive to the estate. A plane will be waiting for the three of you," he said shovelling what was left on his plate into his mouth. I sat up from my seat and placed my plate in the sink so I could go to my room and get ready.
When I get to my room my mind goes blank, I had no idea what I was going to wear or what is acceptable to wear. The one thing I knew to grab was a silver mask and the black cloth that goes over you. It was protocol to wear it for our safety. Even though everyone within the Co-operative knew each- other they still kept information private. My dad gave me a quick look at who worked with them and he told me he has never seen one person on that list. Its smart so if someone goes to the police, they have no evidence of seeing anyone. The only people we know are apart of it are Jeff and Mutt.
Its smart. The Co-operative made this rule so our group name wouldn't be compromised like the last one by snitches.
I decided on some comfy cloths to wear for the plane like joggers and a comfy sweater that I never wear and some professional work cloths and threw them into my suitcase. I then zipped it up and rolled my stuff down to the door. My Dad waited at the door and gave me a big hug. "Make me proud" he said holding the sides of my face. "The saviour will see your special I'm sure of it" he continued before letting me go to my car.
*After the flight*
The flight was calming, and I was able to sleep most of the way. Once we go to the island though, I was amazed. It wasn't what I thought it would be it was surrounded with little stores, a bunch of fun activities, a hospital, and little villas for everyone. The Co-operatives high-end co-op members, like my father, got their own section of the island to stay. Once we got to my Villa Jeff and Mutt told me the meeting was in 2 hours and all I had to do was go to the elevator that lead to the Co-operative building below.
The Co-operative were owners of a secret island that was placed in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle. We made it very civilized and immune to corruption. Nobody except members of the Co-operative knew about this island and anything that got close to picking us up on their radar Were shot down or sucked into the gaping hole of the machine in the sea that has swallowed countless boats. It was safe here and quite peace full.
Considering I wanted to freshen up. I took a hot shower and made sure I looked presentable, even though I would cover up I still wanted to smell and look nice. I laid my outfit out on my bed for when I was done my shower. Once done I got in my bra and back legging, the cloak they made us wear was kind of uncomfortable and looked like the jacket to put over you at the hairdressers. I tucked my hair into the hood of the cloak and grabbed the mask. It was the same metallic colour and shape of a spoon. I placed the mask over my head then walked towards the elevator that was right beside my room. It had two buttons, a keyhole and a thumb print.
First, I pressed the button holding the triangle with an eye in the middle then I heard a voice. "Insert original house key for confirmation" grabbing the key Jeff and Mutt gave me I slide it in the hole and turned it. Lights flickered around it and then it turn green and I heard a clicking noise. "Key confirmed. Now place thumb on scanner" I held my thumb down and it scanned with a ding sound. "Welcome Malia Montgomery to the Co-operative."
