The Dragon God Trial

As the first Stone dragon warrior rose from the ground I was reminded once again how enormous I am, I dwarfed the human sized statues. to be fair I decided to only use my body throughout the trial. There was no contest the poor soldier was crushed into dust nearly instantly. Realizing that they were much to small for me to focus on them I decided to just thrash about until I actually want to try fighting. By the time I started paying attention I had already gotten most of the way through the 9th wave. cleaning up the remainders the Azure Dragon spoke.

"Seeing how well you fought with those of your level I shall adjust it to test you in the coming challenge."

'Well how bad can it be?'

My mistake, the old lizard sent a DIVINE ORIGIN level Stone Dragon General at me. To be fair I can still take it but I will need to use most of my current strength to defeat it and this probably wont be the maximum in the next stage! As the General raises its sword above it's head for the first time since coming to this world I felt any real danger. Instinctively I released all of my power at once blasting abeam from each of my tentacles and my mouth resulting in a beam like on the death star. Though I didn't hit the General directly I still erased over half of it from existence leaving me drained since it was the first time I had done a full powered blast ever.

"Congratulations challenger for being the first being to complete the first part of my trial! Rest and recover before you begin the second section!"

It took me only an hour to fully recover my energy but I also got a benefit from going all out! My energy flowed more smoothly throughout my body after releasing it all at once. It even made my break into the 4th of sky profound! Once again the Old lizard broke me from my thoughts.

"You shall now begin the next trial, Within this plain is an endless amount of beasts the weakest being at your level for them it is an endless paradise but for you it is wrought with dangers. You must defeat 999,999 beasts in one year, If you do not succeed you shall perish Good luck challenger."

With these words my face twists into a smile!

"This is what I was waiting for an enormous pool of prey prepared only for me!"

With a cry I rose into the sky and began devouring what ever came close. I made an important discovery after a day of reckless slaughter.

"Hm? The conversion rate gets better if I'm cultivating at the time? What good luck! More energy to consume!"

After a week of consumption I broke into the 1st of emperor profound and unlocked my domain allowing me to control anything related to liquids, blood check, air check, Ice check. this increased my rate of killings even further I had killed 50,000 over 5% when I broke through and now I'm at 15%(149,999) in one week. As I went up in cultivation I noticed the abnormally large amount needed to advance even for me. The God core consumes most of the energy I absorb and puts it toward expanding my rule resulting in me having an insane amount of energy needed to break through.

"I wonder if beginning to comprehend water laws will help with the energy requirement's. Its needed for me to break through to divine origin anyways so I might as well begin now."

With that in mind I sat in the sky for 7 months getting a basic understanding of water laws down. The Sea Gods Heavenly Manuscript gives me unrivaled talent in cultivating energy, but not comprehending laws it seems.

"RRROOOOAAARRR!"

With a start I let loose a resounding cry as I felt my Sea God Leviathan veins unlock. I didn't realize I hadn't unlocked my full vein yet it seems i needed to know water laws to do so. And my hypothesis was right! As I learn water laws the god core will use less of my own energy and instead begin to use the laws to power itself!

"What luck! Now I can take part in this meal laid before me fully!"

What followed was a massacre anything alive was devoured, used by me to expand my ever increasing power. 4th of emperor, 10th of emperor, 5th of tyrant, 10th of tyrant, finally slowing down and stopping at the 3rd of sovereign profound. As the last Beast, A peak Divine soul realm lightning dragon fell from the sky the Azure Dragon's voice rumbled across the sky.

"Congratulations challenger for completing the trial with one month to spare! You shall now undertake the final and most challenging trial to gain my legacy!"

"Very well. Begin the trial I am ready."

I was taken to a black plane and was expecting to feel some sort of pressure when suddenly.

"You have passed the final trial for my Azure Dragon God legacy! Though I am confused why someone with a pure bloodline like yours would search out mine?"

"I simply needed the beasts in your trial and anything else would be a bonus gained."

"Such a simple reason? Sigh, I would like to make a request."

"Why would the Azure Dragon need me to fulfil a request?"

"My Daughter, I would like you to free my daughter."

"Why is she in need of freeing she should be a true god?"

"She is trapped inside of the Forbidden Land of Samsara by a seal to protect her form the age of the gods."

"I will fulfil your request. But I have a question of my own?"
