Chapter 11: Only For You

Austin became tensed after he got that threat. He couldn't think straight. He felt like he was having a panic attack. At the shooting, he couldn't concentrate. Even his co-actress who is new in the business did her job perfectly. After shooting a scene over 8 times the director was finally happy. Austin went straight to his condo after the shooting. It was very exhausting for him.

He's holding his cat in his lap. The cat is lazily sitting there. It looks like it's dead. Austin loves this dead cat. He forgets about everything when it is around. But today's tension is on another level. So he takes out his phone and video calls

"Sawatdee krub P'Austin. How are you?" Josh says.

Josh looks like he's in some make-up room. A woman is doing his makeup and there are lots of clothes behind him.

"Watdee, Josh. I'm not doing good. I'm glad you picked up the call"

"I only have five minutes. Besides I was about to call you if you hadn't. I know what you did was for the good of people but you should have thought it through before taking an action"

Austin knows Josh wants the best for him. But something in Josh's voice is upsetting. He sounds doubtful. Like he entirely doesn't believe what Austin showed is true. Because if he had then he would have posted about it. He always supports Josh by posting on social media. He would put a picture of him on his Instagram story. But this time he didn't. Josh sighs from the other side and asks the makeup artist to leave for a minute.

"P'Austin, I don't think you did anything wrong. You felt it was right to do and so you did it. I have faith in you"

Austin feels good when he heard Josh's word. Finally, Josh got the point. Josh is also not wrong. What he did was heroic of course, but it also was also very foolish.

"I have to go. Call you later?"

"Sure"

"P'Austin. Don't worry too much. Everything is alright"

Talking to Josh did help Austin a bit. But that didn't last long.

These headlines are now everywhere. AWAN is now more successful than ever. They also managed to make Austin shoot an ad for their newest project. However, each of their product will have to go through inspection before the release in the market. Which is a good news. They won't mix chemicals in their beauty products now. Austin was surprised. Even though he showed solid evidence nothing really happened to AWAN. Then there were another headlines.

Austin sighs as he reads them. He checks his phone. Messages coming from so many peoples. Comments from social media. AWAN was not proved guilty because they put the blame on TOMA BEAUTY. In just three hours they got a clean chit. But the question stands. Why would they let go of him easily? And why frame TOMA BEAUTY?

Austin then goes to their official website. TOMA BEAUTY wasn't doing good in the market. They couldn't sell the products they produced for almost 4 years. Their biggest competition was AWAN. TOMA BEAUTY was this close to lose everything.

Austin then realized why they framed TOMA BEAUTY and they didn't even deny it. It's because AWAN bought it. TOMA BEAUTY is now TOMA SW. A sub-brand for AWAN which will produce the new sportswear. Austin's eyes widen when he reads

Austin feels like someone just stabbed him from behind. How could Josh do this to Him? He was just about to call Josh when he is the one who called first. Austin was angry and disappointed. Josh is his best bud. But why the hell would he do that to him?

"Austin, are you OK?" Josh says softly.

"Why did you do it? Didn't you say you have faith in me?"

"I know. But I did it for you only. I read the news and my sources told me that AWAN was coming right at you. They were planning to destroy you, P'Austin"

"I don't care. I am not afraid of anyone" Austin says loudly.

He feels guilty for using this kind of tone with Josh. Josh doesn't look offended. He has worked with Austin so many times. He knows how Austin becomes when he's mad at something.

"When I heard that they're coming at you, I knew I had to do something. So I called them and made a deal. I'd become their ambassador and they'll let you go. They agreed but they also said you have to shoot an ad for them too. At first, I didn't agree to this but they weren't blinking. So I had to agree to this. P'Austin. Don't be mad. I am the one who spread the rumors. But it's for your own good"

Austin couldn't be mad at Josh anymore when he listened to his reason behind this. He feels good that Win didn't leave his side. Bright's manager already made Austin sign the contract for the new ad film.

Because of Josh, Austin is now forced to work with AWAN again. He couldn't prove anything but instead, AWAN made him look like a fool. But thanks to Josh his image wasn't ruined.
