Since the location of the hotel was only a few miles away from camping grounds, Alaina's mom decided that we should go camping. I looked over to Alaina, "Camping?! It's been a while since I've been." She smiles and we start packing.
Soon enough, we're ready to go. I put on my favorite black and red plaid hoodie and grab my bag. We walk out of our room's door and meet everyone else in the dining room. "Ready to go?" Her mom asks and I nod, "Yes ma'am."
In the car, I draw and listen to music. The first song that comes on is "Clementine" by Halsey. I smile and look over to Alaina. She looks back and my smile brightens while I continue to concentrate on my drawing.
The drawing contains the beautiful sight of trees, a river flowing right in between them. The beautiful glimmering sky shines down on the trees, and some of the trees are tilted to show that the wind is blowing. The sight is a beautiful one, to the least.
I start to feel those pretty blue eyes stare over my shoulder. "Nice drawing." She says and I smile, "Thanks." She nods and I stare into those eyes for what feels like hours until she turns away, leaving me breathless. Great, one last thing I actually need right now.
As we arrive into the parking lot, I put away my sketch book. Once we get out of the car, she takes my hand and we run towards the fireplace. "Wait!" Her mom yells out but we don't want to stop.
She sits down on the bench beside the fire and I sit beside her, our fingers still laced together. I shoot her a smile as we stare into the fire. The warmth of it comforts me and I lean on her shoulder.
"Marshmallow?" Her brother asks, handing me the bag of marshmallows. "Thanks." I say, picking one out and putting it on my stick. "You know you want one!" I say, picking on Alaina while she tries her best to get away from the marshmallow bag. "No! Disgusting! Ewww!" She yelled out and I laughed at her. "Okay, more for me then." I say. "Good. Get those away from me!" She replies and once again, I laugh.
I roast my marshmallow and blow the fire. I then wave the marshmallow in front of her. "Get that out of my face!" She demands and stares at the marshmallow, disgusted. I continue to laugh as I eat my marshmallow. "I don't understand how you can eat that!" She says and my laugh grows.
"Mmmm, delicious." I say and she rolls her eyes as I make my other marshmallow into a s'more. I take a bite, the warm marshmallow gushing out because of the pressure. "Mmmm..." "Ewww stop. Bleh." She says, scrunching her nose. I stick my tongue out and finish the s'more.

"It all started with a little boy." She said, seriousness in her eyes. "He was only eight at the time. The boy was staying at his father's house when the incident happened." She continued until her brother interrupted, "What incident?!" She rolled her eyes at his comment and continued her story.
"The boy's father put the boy to bed and turned off the lights."
"At midnight, the boy woke up to a loud BANG. Scared, he gets up to look around for what has made the noise. Opening his door makes the door creek, but what really startles him is the sight in front of him." "What's the sight?! What's in front of him?" Her brother, once again, interrupts her, but she continues.
"Staring back at the boy is a 6 foot tall demon with glowing red eyes and HUGE horns which scared him half to death that he passed out on the floor. The demon then possesses the boy's body and goes to the boy's father's room. Noticing the door is wide open, he walks over to the father's bed and stabs him to death, causing blood to splatter everywhere. The end."
"Not. Fair. That was a horrible story." I say, but then whisper, "but then again... a great horror story." She nods in agreement as her brothers stare at us in complete horror. "Alright you two, time for bed. You don't want the demon to come and kill you now.. do you?" She says to her brothers and they quickly shake their heads and run to their tent.
"Alright, now it's time for me to get you to bed." She tells me and I sigh, "Okay." Getting up, we walk over to our tent. As she lays down, I lay my head down onto her chest. "I'm not tired." I tell her and she sighs, "You have to go to bed." "But..." I say but she interrupts, "No buts. Go to sleep." I sigh. "No." I protest and look up at her.
I snuggle up against her and try to fall asleep, but fail as I hear the noises of the night. I look up at her and she's awake as well. "I can't sleep." I tell her and she nods, "Alright."

I smile and kiss her. She brushes her fingers through my hair and kisses me back gently. I climb on top of her, still making out as I take off my shirt. I pull back to breathe and take off her shirt as well, revealing her bra. I smirk but she shakes her head, "Ahh.. no." She says and pushes me down onto the sleeping bag. Staring at her on top of me, I smirk once more. "I see..." I say but she cuts me off by kissing me.
A loud sound in the distance catches us off guard. She backs up off of me and I sit up, watching her as she puts her shirt back on. "What was that?!" I whisper to her and she shakes her head, "I'm not sure, but it sounded like a gunshot. Startled, I hide under the blanket of the sleeping bag. She walks over to me and pulls me closer to her.
The last thing I heard before it all went black was her telling me, "Baby! It's going to be okay!"
