"Mexican, American... Italian... which one?" I look over to Alaina, who is currently standing by the kitchen counter. "Hmm? For dinner?" I ask and she nods. "Ummm... Italian, please." Once again, she nods. She walks over to the cabinet looking through cooking supplies and I wheel over to her. "I can help, if you want." I say as I park my wheelchair against the counter. "It's okay. I'm just making spaghetti anyway. You can go to the living room and find us something to watch." I nod as I roll away into the living room.
"Spider-Man Homecoming?! Yes!" I cheer as I select the movie. "I love this movie!" I yell out and I hear her slight chuckle coming from the kitchen. I smile and park my wheelchair next to the couch.
Soon enough, I hear her yell out, "It's ready!" She appears from the kitchen and walks towards the living room with our dinner plates. She hands me my plate and sits down. My attention stays on the television screen and my eyes begin to widen at the sight. The scene is when Spider-Man and Michelle kiss.
My face begins to redden as I continue to stuff my face with spaghetti noodles. When she notices my face being red, she chuckles. "What?!" I say, embarrassed. "I... I... didn't remember that they k... kiss this early.." I stutter, staring down at my spaghetti and afraid to show my face.
"Stop staring at me! My face is probably as red as this spaghetti sauce!" I say, shielding my face. This, however, leaves her as a laughing maniac as she laughs hysterically at me. I roll my chair so the back can face her but it's a little bit tilted so I can still watch the movie.

"How about you stop being a baby and come over here to lay with me?" She asks a few minutes after we finish eating. I shake my head, 'no' and cross my arms. "Come on, baby," She says and, once again, I shake my head. "Stop being so pouty."
"No! You made fun of me!" I say in my baby voice. "No, baby, I just laughed at your joke." She admits and I roll my eyes. "Fine." I say and roll my wheelchair towards her. She helps me onto the couch, yet I still manage to fall out of my wheelchair onto it. I cuddle up with her until I feel tired.
My mom walks in a couple of minutes after with a plate of spaghetti. I make room for her and move my feet, still watching the movie. I then begin to doze off as Alaina messes with my hair soothingly.
A hour or two passes, and I wake up by her sudden movements. "Sorry, baby. I had to move your wheelchair out of your mom's way." She says as she's staring down at me. I nod and lift my legs back onto the couch. "What are you watching now?" I say, pointing at the television. "Uhhh, I'm not sure. The remote is right beside you." She says and I hand her the remote. As she clicks the 'Select' button, the title of the movie pops onto the screen, "Fallen."
"That's an interesting title, do you know what it's about?" I reply and she shakes her head. "No, but I figure it's a romantic movie." I nod and sit up. "What time is it?" I ask and she checks her phone. "It's only nine forty. But if you're tired, we can head to bed." She replies and I nod. "It's okay."
I lay back onto her and she wraps her arm around me. Even though I stare at the television, I'm not paying attention to the movie. It's not that I'm not interested, it's just that I begin to drift off into my thoughts.

"You must be tired, baby." She whispers to me. "Hmm?" I reply, rubbing my eyes. "You keep on falling asleep," She replies with a chuckle. "Come on, let's get you to bed." I get up off of the couch and she intertwines her hand in mine. I smile and she starts walking me to the bedroom.
"Good night, baby." She whispers, slightly yawning. "Good night, darling." I reply and doze off into my own dream wonderland.
