"Come on! Come on! Hurry up!" I yell out excitedly. "The party isn't starting until a couple of hours, baby. Calm down!" She yells back. I sigh, "I know but... I wanna get ready early so we can get there early!" I can hear her chuckle while I open the door to our hotel room's restroom.

Watching her put on her makeup, I say, "I really don't understand why you need to put on makeup! You look amazing the way you are; with or without!" I wrap my arms around her waist, looking into her eyes in the mirror. "Thanks baby, but I need to look at least decent at the party!" She replies, slightly smiling as she sits down her eye shadow brush.

She turns around to look at me and wraps her arms around me, pulling me in closer. I take this as an invitation to hug and kiss her. I whisper, "I love you." into her right ear, making her smile. "I love you too." She whispers back and my heart races. Pulling back from my embrace, she turns around and grabs some lipstick.

"Do you think this color would match or should I just go with red?" She asks and I look at the lipstick. "Uhhh, I mean.. I like red.." I say, trying not to smirk and she nods, "Alrighty." "Not promising that I won't kiss those lips." I whisper under my breath, but she still heard it. "Not promising I won't stop you." She replies.

"Okay, okay! I'm ready!" She exclaims, making me smile. "Yes! Let's go!" I reply as the smile brightens up my face. I grab her hand, practically dragging her behind me while I run towards the door. "Hold up! Slow down!" She yells out, but I ignore it as I lead her towards the car.

Even though we're early, we can still hear the speakers bumping outside. Unbuckling right before she even parks, I try my best not to jump out of my seat. "Calm down, baby! Also, please keep your seatbelt on until I put the car into park!" She slightly yells, her protective side clearly slipping out. "I'll be fine!" I yell back as she tries to search for a parking spot.

"Please sit back and be quiet for at least a second." She demands and I obey, sitting backwards so my back is up against the car seat. Suddenly, she puts the car in reverse and we start rolling backwards. Before I know it, she maneuvers the vehicle's tires so they're parallel with the lines on each side.

After she puts the car in park, she says, "Okay. Now you can unbuckle. But for the God's sa-"Oh hush." I interrupt, "It's really not a big of a deal if I unbuckle a few feet from our destination." "You could get seriously injured. I could... I don't know... hit a deer and you'd..." "I'll be fine. I promise I won't go flying out of the windshield. If you're really that worried then I promise I'll keep my seatbelt on next time." Once again, I interrupt her train of thought, and because of this, she forgets what to say and gets out of the car.

"Good." She whispers. I try my best not to laugh as we walk towards the entrance. The building is huge; I can hardly even notice that it has a ceiling! Looking around, I notice that the dance floor is to the right of the door; a DJ booth right in front of a lightly blue painted wall. To our left are the snack tables. Lined up onto the back wall are stairs leading upwards.

"Okay. We have to set down some rules." She starts and I sigh, "Seriously? Rules? For a PARTY?" She nods, "Yes. I need you to stay with me as closely as possible. I don't need you running off and I can't find you... o..." I cut her off, "I'm sure even the planets can see me. Even Pluto, being a dwarf and all." "What does that suppose to mean?" She asks, her face coated in offense. "Oh... nothing. Don't worry about it." I say jokingly, yet we both know it's because she's shorter than me.

"While you're 'up there', how about you spot the snack table?" She replies. I try not to chuckle, "I'm pretty sure both of us can see that tiny table." This makes her roll her eyes. Taking my hand, she leads me towards the table. "Take whatever you want." The boy says from behind the table. My thoughts wonder... "Wait... he looks just about our age..." I start to overthink... "What if she... she's attracted to him?"

"Okay." She replies and he looks at her strangely. I start to see a glint of something... out of the ordinary... in his eyes. Because of this, I pull her closer to me out of jealousy. "Take something and leave!" My jealous thoughts crowd me as I grab a bag of chips. I wait for her to grab anything, but she's just paying attention to the guy who's standing in front of us.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" He asks her and I try not to snarl. She shakes her head, "I'm not sure.. maybe?" My stomach starts to hurt as she tucks a piece of hair from her face. I start looking around, trying not to think anything into this conversation, but nothing seems to stop my jealousy.

"Well, I'm sure I'll remember you if I have." He says winking, a smirk starts spreading onto his lips. I try to pull her back. She looks up at me, confused to why I did so. I look at her and nod my head sideways, signaling that I want to leave. Still drawn into her presence, the guy leans forward, "You're really beautiful." He whispers and I can tell my facial expression changes. He looks over to me with the exact same smirk, kind of like he's won a prize that I can't win.

"Let's go." I say and nudge her, my voice lowering from my normal one. She looks at me, still confused to why I'm acting like this. I ignore her confused facial expression as I drag her away from him and towards the dining tables in the back beside the stairs.

"Do you not understand what he was doing there?!" I growled, "He was obviously flirting with you!" She rolls her eyes, "No. He was not 'flirting' with me. He was just being friendly. Will you please calm down?" "That is NOT what I call 'friendly'." I reply, slouching down into my chair. "Trust me. That's being friendly." She says, annoyed. "Trust YOU? How can you not tell that he was flirting with you?! He was seriously smirking the whole time like a ... I don't know.. a fuck boy... He called you beautiful! Did you not see him look at me afterwards like he won an award?!" I say angrily, trying to keep my voice down but it still comes out like a yell.

"He did no such thing. Leave it be." She says, her voice sounding much more calmer but I can still tell that she's still annoyed. "Fine." I spit out. "Fine." She replies. I open my bag of chips and stuff my face, trying to ignore the situation. I watch as her eyes wonder over to the snack station. I roll my eyes out of frustration as I continue to stuff my face.

A couple of girls walk over and bumps into me. "I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to do that." The blonde says. A brunette, who I believe is the blonde's friend, "accidentally" spills her chips onto my lap. "Oh my God, I'm such a clutz. Hold this for me, will you? I'll clean that up!" She says and hands me her drink, which, I'm pretty sure, could be wine or some type of alcohol. When she cleans the chips from my lap, Alaina finally notices and her facial expression changes.

The girl finally cleans up all of the chips, except for the ones on the floor, and I hand her back her red solo cup. "Thank you! I'm sorry that happened!" She replies, proving my thoughts of alcohol being correct. The scent of alcohol gushes over me, so I look away from the girls. Looking up to Alaina, I notice she's looking away as well. They pull up the seats behind me and sit down at the other table, trying not to bump into me again. Sighing, I get up.

Ignoring the one and only rule, I walk away for a second to clean the leftover chip crumbs from my clothing. Suddenly, I bump into a familiar face in the bathroom. "I... I'm sor.." I say, but realize who it is, "Oh. You." "What do you mean, me?" He asks and I roll my eyes, "You can't be less of a fuck boy, can you? Also, fuck off of my girl before I have anything to do about it." I growl and walk around him.

Suddenly, I get pulled back by the collar of my shirt. "What are you going to do about it? You obviously look like the cliché Mr. Nice Guy." He replies and a cloud of anger shoots through my veins. "You'll fucking see." I growl, my voice booming through the room. He rolls his eyes and walks out.
