Towards the Sea

The morning came greeting my eye, preferably the array of sunlight dazzling above us. It was racing through the glass windows, together with the school of fish roaming from the other side.

The luminance lit the room with its radiance, except for the adjacent section of my bedroom. I had thought that there must be someone standing over there.

The eerie idea made my heart pound for a second.

"Hello?" I uncontrollably jerk my way out from the comfort of my bed, trying to put the puzzle into pieces from the ominous figure standing at the corner. I also unconsciously conjure a set of flame whirling balls at each of my hands. It was just for the sake of an emergency.

"Please stop it with your games," I utter, hoping that the shape could deem my warnings. "I have enough things to handle from yesterday's events."

However, the figure does not dare to move out of its location. It instead creeps closer in front of me and eventually reveals its face.
