Black Opal

I expected much to see a chest go "KABOOM" since it had these peculiar designs that lured our eyes. The trap was not that complicated to guess, but I did not let my guard down. That explosion would be enough to kill a human or even a creature if that individual was not careful.

"It was a good thing that I shielded myself from the blast," I expressed, and heaved out an exhale.

I glanced behind and noticed my comrades hiding behind the stones and barriers they created beforehand. They intended to secure themselves a shelter and watched from the back lines, waiting for something to happen.

Ruby was even one of them, hiding behind Elanor. I thought you were the demonic daughter of the demon lord? Why are you even protecting yourself from this ignition, you bunch of cowards!?

However, those words did not reach them. I could only stare at their gawking faces, assuming that I was alright from the detonation.
