The journey home

Tau is taking a tour with Gilda, when a panicked moon elf comes running. "Sir! we have a problem on the chateau grounds." Tau is still a little uncomfortable about having Moon Elves on board. The Moonlord specially trained these guys to operate the complex machinery. They can never leave this ship and so serve for life. Their families receive huge dispensations. Tau lets them be since without them he can't run the ship but also they are bonded to it by soul link.

"What should I call you?" Tau knows that there are one thousand such moon elves as servants, mechanics, cooks, and pillow warmers. The Elf again denies his request. They are simple servants and must always be addressed as such. The contract that maintains the soul link pays out their families directly from the hidden vault of the Moon lord. This is a condition of employment set forth by the moon lord. He likes to remind me of the separation between high born and low. The natural order of the world, as were.
