'so what are the results?' aero asks the helper. for a moment he did get a response, ' they are limited by my current capabilities. but with them, I can assure you there are no long-term effects. I also assumed they noticed the change, but none of them suspect you have anything to do with it.'

"That's good," aero continued with his packing. since nothing went wrong he could continue with his plans to head off, he wanted to visit his mother before going to meet with the small list of applicants he accepted with the possibility of joining his team. 'which is sure to go well,' he had to remind himself he couldn't punch people while he looked through the letters that were sent his way.

'so many people with the wrong idea,' of course they probably haven't met anyone with desires like my own have they? 'hopefully the school can change that,' or worse it would help people see more of what they could do. from what the helper told him, changes like this could take lifetimes. of course, a lord was supposed to live lifetimes so that may not be a problem, for him. 'i'll have to see,' is what he thought about it.

he was on the road somewhere around mid-day, traveling under the light of the sun was nice but he didn't focus on it. 'im building a team, and with that means access to some more mission type.' it just accused to him the distance that would be needed to be traveled for them. it would definitely take him out of that part of the continent.

Hopoth was located above the planet's equator, it was a mid-sized continent with plenty of trading worldwide. aero's never gone further than the central part of it where he lived and went to training school.

"Now that I think about it, I could go to another school couldn't I!" he could pass their entrance exam, which was usually showing what skills you had. 'probably won't need as much violence as last time.' However, he was going to be ready for otherwise. 'i'm fine doing training missions on my own, not to mention I'm building a team I don't think that will be necessary.' aero pushed the idea aside unaware the helper made a note of this idea.

traveling through the thick forest wasn't anything but silent but aero drowned out the distance noise with ease of practice while he thought about the team. mostly deciding the bottom line of what he wanted to build. he wasn't sure what the best result would be, he wasn't getting his hopes up. 'oh Zalts, please grant me grace when my choices for my team are to be made,' he prayed before he didn't know what else he could do at the moment.

'my lord?!' the helper asked as the cart came to a stop for the night, "yes?"

'what do you think is the purpose of your team," that wasn't a hard question for aero, to help him learn leadership skills. 'then your team won't be that successful. I encourage you my lord to reevaluate what the goals of forming a team are. as they will affect how you react with them.'

"I see your point," motivation was a powerful thing," what other reason would have? I mean I guess I could try and improve my people skills. but what else could there be.'

'how about finding people you like outside your mother,' if the helper had a face it would have dropped the way their lord started laughing. he laughed for several petals. before sitting up, "I doubt my future wife would reach that level of affection with me!"

'i miss spoke my lord," the helper backtracked, they were aware that their lord was planning to get married. though they realized his standard for the wife would probably be incredibly high. or very specific. which wouldn't be a bad thing as long as he remained flexible, 'if your goals don't change it might be harder for you to tolerate your teammates.'

"well see when we meet them," aero ended the conversation there and prepared to turn in for the night. the next morning had a bit of excitement as a creature the size of his hand tried to eat his right hand. he sent it flying into the trees before he had his first meal of the day. the rest of the day was a bit dry with travel though he did his best to distract himself. with enough attention on the road and danger, not much appeared, and any that did he dealt with quickly.

he was more than glad to arrive in his hometown, right to hug his mother. "how were your travels?" aero made a face and his laughed a little before asking for the details. her child was a little dramatic at times but he was honest with his opinion. 'from the sound of it he didn't start any fights,' she was happy with that change. he already had a dangerous lifestyle he didn't need to make any enemies.

Adir backstepped when he noticed aero who gave him a scorching look. 'is this boy ever going to warm up to me?' he wanted to cry, he wanted to get along with Neora's child. Adir met her mother, aero was the only person unhappy with their relationship. one which was on haunt because of him, they couldn't get further because they feared how violently he would react. though he's been calming down in terms of violence, they didn't want to set him back. so for now they were going to count as they have.

'though neither of us really mind how things are at the moment,' he thought before softly greeting the younger male. who under the eyes of his mother he begrudgingly returned. he stuck close to his mother for a reasonable amount of time, before splitting off to clean out his cart and check over the wheels. the forest roads were rough and he would go through wheels pretty fast from what he heard, quicker if he treated his vehicle roughly. 'i think there still good,' his wheels were by no once as pristine as they once more but still solid.

pouring out some feed for the creature aero grabbed his things, dropping his bed in his room before dropping himself onto it. it has been so long since he's been in his own room and he might just take a nap. but instead, he sat up and headed out into the town, more especially towards the library as he had to talk to his sorta teacher.

"It's good to see you back," Tova stated pulling a child off her back. only for another to climb on her. she let out a noise of defeat and turned to the lord of pride. "so is this a short visit or do you have time for a lesson?" aero thought over it for a moment, it was still pretty early in the day so he had time to stick around. he stuck around for a lesson on star charts, and how to read them at the lowest level.

as usual, it was a lot of things he didn't understand, but he was going to learn them. he asked a few questions with Tova, and more with the helper as the day went on. navigating the stars was a skill he was going to need, 'my lord would you like me to create some practice exercises for this star chats reading?'

"you can do that?" he got an affirmative," then yes I would like some practice exercises." the help informed him he would have them ready in 3 petals. during those, few moments aero returned home and helped his mother in the kitchen. before going to wash the clothes that came on his trip, and also doing repairs. one outside had a large start from a close call that left a thin cut on his side, so he had to fix that up.

after setting his clothes to dry in the setting sun, aero looked at the sky thinking about the hours he's spent stargazing. he could recall what stars he could see from his house. 'how would a map that?' he didn't know what was stars or planets. nor how far they were from him. the helper had the ability to find out and in part, it though the practice that aero did before bed.

the next morning while he trained his body, after a nice first meal with his mother, he trained his mind by going over the star shart exercises. 'These kinds of gravitational abnormalities are signs of a black hole, which should be avoided by more than a few thousand leagues. following that are the gravitational abnormalities of a white hole which are similarly dangerous.'

the maps weren't just learning directions, but seeing dangers from far away. it also had the benefit of teaching how to navigate by stars planetside, which aero was going to be doing from now on. today was more of a soft training regimen so that he didn't get weaker while he rested.

after the second meal aero went off to the library to ask some questions about star charts," when traveling there are section spaces that belong to different factions. while I doubt they would forbid a cosmic lord from traveling through their space, they might try and make it more of a hassle for you."

"I can work with hassles," aero replied it wouldn't be pleasant but he could deal with them. probably figure out some kind of solution along the way. he wasn't above force in the slightest, Tova knew this and nervously laughed praying for those in the future. they talked about some common factors and the complicated stuff that came with factions' alliances and enemies. aero was unimpressed the entire time, only taking notes of the ones relating to his fellow lords of sin.

"they've made lots of connections over their lives haven't they?" aero commented to the helper as he returned home.' it is the best thing to do, when one lives a long time they either fear making connections or keep making them. you're the health of your mind, I hope that my lord continues to make connections in the future.'

"I don't make connections now," aero responded but he wondered how badly that would affect his mind in the future. the thought of interacting with people wasn't too pleasant for him. even with potential teammates coming his way aero wasn't looking forward to it on a personal level. but he knew it was necessary and he was looking forward to the new level of missions.

"so how are you planning to greet your potential teammates?" Neora asked her son when he came home. "with the end of my staff," her mother's face was very flat. but aero was serious he planned to greet them with the end of his staff and see what kind of skills they had. he didn't care if it was a rude greeting, he wasn't the softest person, and if his teammates couldn't take that they weren't going to last long.

"look even if your right," his logic was sound if not a little messed up, " that doesn't mean you should do that. I know you don't like to waste time, but this is something you should use much last time need it. first impressions rarely show you everything that you want to know about someone." aero was silent, he stared at his mother for a moment.

"I disagree, I'm not looking to make friends." he was aware she was hoping for this. despite his age aero has had no friends. it didn't bother him like it bother his mother. she never pushed about it, but she's held hope for years that one day he might make a single friend. he would acknowledge his lack of friends is probably a good contributor to his poor social skills.

when it was clear she couldn't change her child's mind Neora sighed but prepared herself for the chaos that was sure to arrive. she made a decision to inform the local healers about the arrival date of the potential teammates. which wasn't that far away, he sent out a deadline. you weren't there by that day he wasn't going to consider you, it was a pretty generous one.

aero didn't want anyone moving across the country for him, so he limited the area his recurrent effort reached. it reached towns that were generally about a week to two away from his own. this way they would generally get the same mission news and find group ones together. aero was giving them a choice, they would die on these missions, and 'everyone had the right to decide to risk their life.' something he heard at lectures at his previous place of education.

"I still agree with that thought," aero mumbled. as he watched the star map the helper projected before him. it was a small section of space pretty simple, with few planets. the ship he was plotting a course for was in need of fluid for its inhabitants. they require three didn't type of fluids, which could be found on the planet in the sector.

"plot a course to reach all three planets," this would be simple if he didn't have to reach all planets under a deadline. The planets were moving as well so that had to be taken into account, along with the time needed to collect the liquid. his time limit was 30 days

"Okay, so according to this I need two days for each stop to collect the objective," aero finished some quick calculations. "that means 24 days to travel," with that in mind he started testing out a course for the ship to take. this proved to be a bit hard considering a bunch of other factors. several failed attempts passed, with him not meeting the deadline before he reached the third planet.

"their solar rotations are making this a bit harder than I thought, they would." but he kept trying he was figuring it out and getting closer. just a few more nitches to work out, the stars charts were making more sense with each completed exercise.

aero would say he was having fun learning something new and useful, hopefully, in the future, he would be able to put his training to use.
