Meanwhile...

Addy told Leo to find out everyone that had cancelled their appointments with Eva and bring him the list.

Fifteen minutes later Leo came in with the list, and Addy told him to find out their contact number, luckily most of them were Addy's acquaintance and business partners, so he told them he would make them go bankrupt if they don't rebook their appointments, and if he hears a word that he was the one who called them to rebook, they will not see the next day.

All of them feared for their lives and the end of their careers, immediately called VEES BRANDS to rebook their appointments and to even please him more, they told their friends and families to also book an appointment.

After Addy was satisfied, he instructed Leo, to order a bunch of flowers and a bottle of wine, and send them to Eva. Which he did and also added his own present for Lilian, which was boxes of chocolate. If he remembers correctly, whenever Lilian is nervous, stressed or worried she binge on chocolate as stress relief. So he got her premium rich chocolates with a bunch of flowers as well.

Later that evening, Leo's men had already found the location of the guy that delivered the parcel to Judi's house. He had just finished talking with his brother, in terms of how and when they will bring him in for interrogation in their facility.

Since it was getting late, Leo told Ken, he should bring the parcel guy in tonight, and then he will let Addy know about it tomorrow morning.

He knew if he was to tell Addy this evening, they would go to the prison location.

Later that evening, when Leo got home, Sara was waiting for him to get back. After dinner, they were discussing general stuff, when Sara asked

"Did you hear the news about Lilian and her Boss today?"

Leo's face changed, he wasn't pleased with the fact that she's asking him, but he will reply to her anyways.

"Yes I did, it's a shame people are going out of their way to ruin other people's lives and businesses"

"Don't you think the rumour is true?"

"No I don't think the rumour is true, I know Lilian too well, she isn't that kind of person"

"Oh, what if she had changed?"

"Oh no, not My Lilian...I mean not Lilian" he had a slip of tongue and quickly corrected himself but Sara was boiling hearing him defending her and not just that, he had the guts to call her 'My Lilian' in her presence.

"We dated for nine years, since the beginning of high school, so I know what she can do, and even if she changed, it definitely isn't becoming a slut" he continued

"Well I don't know why you are defending her, but in every rumour, there are elements of truth"

"I'm not defending her, I'm only stating the fact. And this element is definitely a lie, I can bet everything I have on it"

"Wow. Can you bet everything you have on me too?"

Leo looked at her confused but didn't reply only smiled at her.

Sara realised the conversation is getting weird and uncomfortable, so she decided to change the topic.

"Anyways, the president's daughter is getting married next weekend, my whole family is invited so would you be my date?"

"Oh yeah sure" Leo was a bit worried because Sara's dad doesn't like him, so he's not really comfortable around him.

After having a calm conversation, they went to bed.

THE NEXT DAY...

At Wills cooperation...

Wendy knocked on the door and came in without waiting for any response

"Sir, Mr Jack Lee is in the waiting area to see you, should I send him up?"

"Its Major General" Noah said with pride

"Sir?" Wendy was confused

"He is not Mr but Major General stupid, send him in" He stood up to clear his surroundings

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door, Noah knew it was Jack

"Come in"

"Good morning Uncle" Jack has always called Noah Uncle because he is like a brother to his dad.

"Jack you will offend me this morning, I already told you not to call me Uncle anymore, since you will soon be my son-in-law, just stick with Father" Noah was smiling from ears to ears.

"Ok Father"

"Very good"

Noah had always liked Jack since he was born, but when his girlfriend gave birth, she gave birth to a girl. He wanted a boy that will take over the company later, but because its a girl, he wasn't happy, so he never touched her or played with her while growing up, but then later, he had a son, he was so happy he finally has an heir to inherit the company later, but his son seems like he's not interested in the business at all.

When his best friend told him his son said he likes Eva, he thought about how he could use that to his advantage, and since his daughter is now a single mother, no one would be interested in her, so it is a win-win situation for all of them.

Jack is the youngest Major General in the history of the country, at the age of twenty-six, he had become the M.GEN. He is now twenty-nine, he is thinking of settling down, and he has always liked Eva since they were little and even tried to talk to her a couple of times but she only replies to him like they were strangers.

"Sorry Father, I thought I was going to come yesterday, but I had some important and urgent meeting to attend," Jake said.

"NO, no, it's fine my son"

"I have booked an appointment with Eva this morning, but you will go on my behave and I know you know what to do" Noah continued

"Yes sir, I will go right away then"

"Alright, let me know how it goes" he winked

Jack left the building, to go to VEES BRAND's headquarters which is about thirty minutes drive. On his way, he bought flowers and chocolate.
