Chapter 46 Counter Attack
Using his training as a Shinobi, Leon hides in the trees while removing his existence and visuals from others. While being a Shinobi gives a great advantage in combat, his body condition is not as good as his adult version and the risk of stray bullets hitting him is not something he would tempt.
From afar using his Tactical Night Vision Google, Leon could see how Christine moves between the terrain. She jumps and dash all over and soon she changes her form to a government soldier.
Leon quickly tags her information in the Tactical NVG as Friendly to prevent misidentification.
As she walks to the position of the BMP. Leon quickly analyzes and situation and speak to her to prevent problems, "Halt, there are too many people in your front. Takes a rifle from dead soldier behind the bush in your 1 o'clock"
"My 1'oclock?" ask Christine.
Leon groaned…. "Up front to your right a little". Quickly Christine use her sensor and find the corpse.
"Next time after this Quest remind me to teach you about military terminology"
"Recorded. I would remind you after this Quest is over" answer Christine.
Right when she takes the gun from the corpse, a soldier who see this suddenly shout "Hey? What are you doing? Wheres your own gun?"
When Christine see this she walks to the soldier while changing to that soldier and used his voice "You are a good sample to be used"
The soldier becomes scared and fires at her, but all the bullets only splash into a silvery metallic liquid, and the bullet drops out one after another as the metal returns to form an undamaged body and uniform.
"M…m...monster.." he stuttered, and he quickly try to run away. Too bad Christine quickly fire her gun and killed the soldier.
As she walks forward she met a few soldiers, so she speak "I need some help. I see few rebels are moving over there!" as she point to a trail on the right side.
"Good. Lets chase after them" said a Sergeant. As he lead his team forward to follow the trail, Christine shot them from the back.
Leon give order to Christine through his ability as he saw a decent target for her "I see T-72 on your left trail. No one near them. You could take it over without suspicion"
Not long after he give that order, a high pitched electromagnetic wave was felt by him. He quickly brings out his sword and gun. Very quickly he see a dangerous monster walk out of the bushes near his position. The monster is like a skinned human, with large claws on its hand and feet, exposed brains, and long tongue.
The monster is getting close to him and surrounded him, but they don't show any hostility yet. Leon put out his chakra to his foot prepare to Shunshin at moment notice. He knows this monster,

Using his Tactical Google, Leon watch as the Government forces are in shambles as those monsters show up. "Monster….. They have monsters….. Shoot them!" shout some soldiers.
As the Lickers jump all biting and killing the government soldier, the government soldier shoot them back. As the BMP-1 try to aim its cannon to the Lickers, suddenly it blow up.
"It's our T-72 tank? Why does it attack the IFV?" shout a soldier, sadly they quickly get ripped by the Lickers.
"Christine, leave that tank to me. Have you found the commander?" ask Leon as he now dash through the trees to be near the tank position.
"Found him. He is in a Command Car 700 meter from this position" Christine answered.
"You dealt with the Command Car. After dealing with it contact me so I could give false orders!" Leon told her.
From above a treetop near the T-72 position, Leon now use his chakra tread to connect with the T-72 tank. He also send some smaller robots to murder people inside the Tanks.
He controlled the T-72 cannon and machine gun to shoot and kill soldiers that the he set its sight on. Leon also shoots some soldiers that try to fire RPG to the tank.
"Eh can't let you destroy my new toy" Leon said as he grinned while using his Laser rifle to fire at some soldiers from afar. The laser pierce the RPG ammunition and cause explosion that also wipe out a few nearby soldiers.
Meanwhile Christine walks to the Commander Carriage while disguising as a fellow soldier.
While there are T-72 and the Licker attacking the advancing government soldiers, the battle still rages on as the numbers of tanks and IFV are still advancing through the woods.
"Situation Report Christine!" said Leon.
"There is still 8 tank and 13 IFV left of government forces"
"Damn… still that much?" Leon cursed. Then he thought "Don't alert the enemy of your existence. Try to get to the Commander position first, then we could turn the tide of the battle"
Meanwhile Leon still controls the T-72. He found another IFV moving in. He quickly target it as the BMP-1 IFV realize his existence and try to reverse their gear. Using his ability to reload the weapon, he uses an Armor Piercing Sabot round and fire the gun, quickly penetrating the BMP and causing an explosion in the inside of the BMP killing everyone inside.
From the top of the trees as he advanced forwards, Leon could see how the Lickers are killing the government soldier. Yet the government soldiers are retreating while they prepare a firing line. Once the Licker gets sighted on this firing line, they are slaughtered. 4-5 Licker was downed by the government soldiers defense line as they are becoming minced meat riddled with bullets.
Meanwhile Christine movement going back is still to conspicuous as a soldier suddenly bark at him "Halt!"
Christine stop and watch the barking soldier. He wears a black Armband in his right arm. He quickly interrogate her "Why are you going backward Soldier. Report your name and serial number!"
"Who are you?" ask Christine as she tilt her head.
"Eastern Slav 43rd Armored Brigade, Military Police Sergeant Luca! Now tell me your name and identity!" he answered as he point his AK-74 at Christine.
"Ah, Military Police? This identity is more useful!" she whispered as she jumps forward to kill the soldier.
The Soldier quickly fires at Christine, but his eyes go wide as rather than blood spurt, what he see is silvery metallic substance on the one he shoots at. Before he could shout again, Christine one shot from her hand that hit the soldier's head.
The soldier quickly fall down and Christine walks away leaving the dead soldier while she impersonates the Sergeant Luca forms.
Not too long she met a few other soldier with black Armbands running to her position, with gun drawn. Probably hearing the gunshots "Hey Luca! What's with the gunshot?" ask one of them as they see 'Sergeant Luca' form and her black armband.
"Caught a deserter back there.I finished him off" she answered while preventing them to take a really close look at the corpse.
They quickly shake their heads while one of them said, "You should just capture him and send him to trial. Not execute on sight like that". It seems they believe her.
"I understand," Christine answered.
"Very Good, continue patrolling. This Mission we should make no mistake!"

Not too far, on a BMP-1 tank which is filled with communication equipment above it and the turrets have no cannon. Big Liu and A Fan was standing there with a middle aged officer.
"Major Oleg, the mission is a success. Their Licker can't play more role in battle" said Big Liu as he think highly on the officer.
"You make a good performance, your giant centipede distracts Moros enough that it exposes his position. If you can successfully capture Moros, you would have a good future in our Eastern Slav Republic" said Oleg.
A Fan just seems to smile while he doesn't really think much of Oleg promises. His goal is just using this incident to make a bridge with higher rank in the government.
Considering the mission given by the God System, since they arrive the plot should change a lot. There is a high risk that Leon Kennedy would fail to solve this alone. So after discussing with Big Liu, he agree to make the government forces solve the Rebel much faster. Ending the Civil War as soon as possible.
A Fan considers that if he could gain Christine, using his poison insect, his goal for using the Virus would advance.
When suddenly a Military Police staggered with blood on his clothes, waking at them while saying "Centipede, the centipede attack us!"
Major Oleg quickly give a questioning look to A Fan.

Oleg also feels something is wrong "Luca, what's the situation? Why I don't hear anything wrong outside?" he ask the Military Police that just ran in.
"Is he...is he!" he pointed at A Fan then he fall down.
"You….." Oleg quickly walks to A Fan trying to confront him when suddenly the MP stand up and pointed a gun to Oleg's back.
"Be careful!" shout A Fan, but it's too late as Bang! Bang! Bang! Three gunshots fired, and Major Oleg quickly fell down as his head and his heart were pierced by bullets.
Big Liu startled quickly draw his gun to aim at the standing soldier "WHO THE HELL ARE…..you?" his jaw was dropped as the soldier changed to an attractive female.
"I found Fan Bufan and Liu Zhuangshi! Can I remove them?" she talks to the intercom.
"Negative, you can't kill them. But you must disable them!" a cold sound of a boy was heard. In reality Leon really wished he could kill them, but he once tried to check if he could kill A Fan once, the system warned him of the penalty of killing a team member.
Big Liu was quickly scared and shouted back "REMOVE MY ASS!" as he quickly fired his gun. Using his Bullet Time skill he learned in Max Payne, he quickly fire his Desert Eagle .44 Magnum at Christine. Christine was a little bit thrown back, and a hole seems formed on her body, but she quickly stand up again and her hand forms to blade and she slashed in a quick manner. Scaring him outright, but A Fan using his short sword try to stop Christine blade slash.

The sword should have clashed with Christine's blade, but as if not Christine change to use her fist to slam both of their torsos. Throwing both of them a few meters backwards and causing them to throw up blood.
Christine draws back the liquid metal to check her endoskeleton, once she confirm there are no damage, her point of view change to the two men.
A Fan who feel his body broken was startled and scared out of his wits, he quickly shouted "RUN!!!" as from the underground a large thing covers him and Big Liu and swallow both of them.
Meanwhile Christine who changed her hand to Ion cannon try to aim to the ground where both of them disappeared, but quickly change her target and fire her cannon to an approaching large shadow, it hits. But another shadow quickly entangled her. The dead shadow was a 5 meter long centipede that was blasted to two. The shadow that entangle her is also another centipede with the same size, the centipede try to squash her and its legs try to pierce Christine's body.
Christine changed her hand armament to a circular saw and quickly cut the Centipede, but the centipede regeneration seems able to heal its wounds. So Christine quickly uses all her strength and forces the centipede to lose its grasp on her body. Quickly the centipede lost its power to Christine and as Christine succeeded to grab the centipede, she threw it away from her body. The centipede fell backward, it was scared and tried to run away from Christine, but Christine already changed her hand to become an Ion cannon and fired it when the centipede barely hid his body underground. .
Bang!! The centipede body was destroyed and green liquid from its body splashed all over the place.
