Ceres had already told Mo how to train and figure out who had what abilities. Like in the last live Situ got lightning abilities and Jiang got metal. Ceres got ice ability without the system she couldn't pick and choose, and Mo got gravity and earth abilities. No one left the base for two weeks straight they spent that time in rigorous training.
