'Don't judge a book by its cover', is what they say,
But inevitably they judge everyone everyday.
They judge you by how you look and what you wear,
Even though they say, 'I don't care'.
They judge you for what you do and how you behave,
Calling you out on your mistakes and telling you to not misbehave.
They think they own a throne,
And you not even a stone.
They say be true to yourself,
But how can one be true to oneself,
When they judge you for not being someone else.
