Another week rolled out. Con could feel Tess wasn’t herself. She was chatting and teasing him, but less than before. He knew he had to move out as he felt that was the best decision now, but he could not leave her like that. He would prefer to power through this darkness by her side, even if her ignoring him hurt a lot. Especially after the closeness they had, the laughs and the joy they experienced in the last couple of weeks. 


Tony’s last visit really impacted her. And the fact she now had a restraining order against him. She was different. Her eyes didn’t sparkle like they should and her laugh wasn’t as joyful as he knew it could be.
