Chapter 67: Fighting Superman

It is ironic to say that the krypton element from the hometown of the Kryptonians is their greatest natural enemy forever. The krypton energy generator at the waist of Batman's armor had just been turned on, and immediately achieved remarkable and amazing results. Under the influence of krypton radiation, Superman's divine power continuously leaked out of his body like water bursting a bank, and every second was speeding up.

Superman gritted his teeth, roared, and rushed forward instantly. He wants to solve the battle before his strength and speed have completely disappeared, and now his situation is a bit more dangerous with every second delay.

But it seems to be late. Batman faced the fist that was dragging the waterline in the rain, raised his armoured arm, and a crisp sound of metal impact echoed far away in the silent rainy night. Superman found that his fist had been hit by the opponent. Hold it steadily, and can't move half a millimeter.

"If you are really Clark, then you should know," Batman gritted his teeth, hoarsely, "I never fight an unprepared battle."

He roared, and his fist hit Superman's cheek with the sound of rain and wind. Superman staggered backwards, his feet were not firm yet, and the heavy steel boots slammed on his chest again. The burst of force from the bottom of Batman's boots made him feel as if he was hit head-on by a speeding train, his body involuntarily flew off the ground, and the red cloak weakly fluttered.

Krypton radiation deprived Superman of most of his power, and the heavy blow from Batman made him sore. He lay on his back in the rain, pouring rain from his breathless mouth and nose, and he couldn't stand up for a while. Batman stepped forward slowly, his heavily armored knees pressed against the "s" on the opponent's chest, and the light of Krypton energy reflected Superman's pale face into green. He punched Superman's left and right cheeks with one punch after another, until the opponent's mouth was spitting blood with rain.

Bruce didn't want to do this, but he knew he couldn't stop. Even at this point, Superman is still extremely dangerous, and a moment of negligence may still lead to a reversal of the situation.

But when his iron fist was raised again, and the blue eyes intersected, he still stopped involuntarily, as if an invisible force fixed his arm in the air, no matter how hard he exerted it. Can't hit another half point.

From those blue eyes, he seemed to see his best friend, the boy from the rustic town of Kansas farm. Maybe somewhere in the depths, that silly boy's soul is still there.

There was a short hesitation, only about three seconds in total, but Bruce Dang realized that he had made a fatal mistake-letting his emotions control him in the battle. Subsequent facts proved that this really became the key to the reversal of the battle. The Superman who got an instant respite seemed to have gathered all the energy left in his body. The blue eyes instantly became hot, and the red laser shot out, hitting straight. The device for Batman's waist.

He may not have much power left, but he is still a superman, and he has enough strength to destroy such a sophisticated electronic instrument. The device on the waist of the armor burst out with electric lights and sparks, and a faint green smoke emerged from it, representing that the kryptonite buried in it had also been shattered by thermal vision.

The recovery speed of the Kryptonians after the effects of krypton radiation disappeared is quite astonishing. Bruce had already done special research on this, and he himself had been seriously injured long ago, and the broken ribs were still in pain.

Then there is no suspense. Superman overturned him easily, and then used his recovered power to easily tear off the bat-shaped steel helmet, revealing Bruce's face. He squeezed the opponent's throat and lifted it off the ground, and the strength of his grip made the armor around Bruce's neck make a "crack" sound.

"Very good attempt, Bruce." Superman seemed to be angry, he said viciously, "but that's it."

Bruce gritted his teeth, and countless rain water flowed down his cheeks. He said laboriously, "If...if this is what you want...just do it, Clark."

"I think so too."

He didn't even hesitate, his blue eyes became red and hot again, and the ultra-high temperature killing intent gushed out, evaporating the rainwater near his eye sockets into white vapor.

He really wanted to kill Batman.

Bruce panted heavily, looked at this very familiar face so close, and looked at the murderous eyes, suddenly it became clear--

——There is no soul of that small town boy in it.

No matter who this person is, he is not Clark Kent, he is not a real Superman.

The red and blue afterimages whizzed at this flash of lightning, like a cannonball fired through a rain curtain. Superman turned his head subconsciously, and a fist shadow had split his head and covered his face, and hit the bridge of his nose with a loud c4 detonating noise.

Superman was slammed into the air, and he had to temporarily throw Batman down. Another afterimage swiftly flashed behind Batman to support his heavy body. He glanced sideways and recognized that it was a super girl.

The one who knocked Superman into the air was naturally Jay with the new Superman name. He wore the pale yellow goggles that Batman gave him, floating in the air and flying cloak. He stared at Superman who was slowly climbing up, and asked without looking back, "How is Batman?"

"The ribs were broken, in addition to seven small fractures and concussions." Kara quickly performed a full-body physical examination with X-rays, and Batman seemed unhappy about it.

Superman stood up and stared at Jay, snorted coldly from his nose: "New Superman, that's what they call you."

"Yes, I haven't had much confidence before that can match the mark on my chest." Jay said, "but you make me more confident now."

Superman shook his head: "You don't understand, you are still too young, just like me in the past."

"Then I think I'd better stay young."

Unlike his toughness, Jay doesn't really want to be here. He doesn't like killing, but when the situation requires, he doesn't particularly mind killing a few people who deserve the crime, and he knows that the Arkham lunatic asylum at the moment is full of lunatics who are far more than "worthy."

Although he didn't fully realize that his hands were stained with blood, he normally wouldn't mind if someone were willing to get his hands dirty and eradicate the hopeless evil here once and for all. But after arguing with Kara for a while, they came here after all. In Jay's impression, Kara never seemed to be so stubborn about anything else. She insisted on preventing Superman from filling in. Cam, Jay thinks she might be influenced by her cousin. And no matter how unwilling Jay he is, he would never allow his girlfriend to fight a battle with a slim chance of winning alone.

And another more important reason is Batman. Not to mention how important Batman's role and significance are in this dark world, even for Helena Wayne's sake, Jay can't watch her father so meaninglessly. Died in battle.

Superman sighed and seemed to give up the continuation theory. Jay saw him clenched his fist, and the cold air stream with water in the air swirled around the blue body.

So Jay also clenched his fists, took a deep breath and tried to stay calm.

If you say you are not nervous, it must be false. Please, that's Superman! He has stronger abilities and more combat experience than himself, and now even abandons kindness and bottom line-that was once called Superman's biggest weakness in the comics, which made him almost unstoppable.

So how can we win against such an opponent?

He has no answer.

The moment the two Kryptonians accelerated, the rain curtain exploded the water waves as if thrown into the water of a huge boulder. The afterimages of the same color accelerated the collision, turning and entangled towards the dark sky at the moment when the shocking waves burst at the point of impact. Their body shapes are so similar that it is almost indistinguishable from each other under the super-fast offense and defense exchange. The dark night sky exploded one white spray after another, and the sound penetrated the sky.

Cara worried that Jay would suffer. She placed Batman against a wall in a slightly more comfortable position, and then she rushed into the night sky with a "bang" and joined the fierce duel.

Each of the three Kryptonians possessed the power to overthrow the world, and the fierceness of the battle can be imagined. The ultra-high-speed movement brought hurricanes and rain water. The high heat generated by the friction between the Kryptonian body and the airflow left red water waves in the rain. Every fist hit carried a thunderous muffled sound, which stirred white in the air. Splash.

The battle lasted and didn't take long. The entire process from two Supermen rushing into the sky side by side to the three people withdrawing from the battle took less than two minutes. When they faced each other apart, Jay and Kara floated side by side, while Clark was hanging in the air about seven or eight meters away from them.

It's impossible to tell who is better, at least not from Batman's perspective. The two sides stayed in the air for a while, and there was no plan to shoot again for the time being.

Kara said softly, "Please, Clark, tell me...what's wrong with you?"

A flash of lightning flashed in the sky, illuminating Superman's angular face, as well as water drops hanging on his damp hair and nose. He glanced coldly across the faces of Jay and Kara, and finally glanced at Batman below his eyes, and finally snorted heavily, seeming to understand that it is impossible to achieve the goal in today's situation.

"You don't understand. I'm just doing what I have to do."

His voice was very low, more like he was speaking to himself. Without waiting for the two of them to pay attention, he turned around and "banged" through the rain screen and flew away from Arkham Island, which was covered by the rainstorm.
