A rumbustious morning in Kirigakure. It is a weird sight indeed. As usually the bloody mist is relatively on the quieter side. Even a few days ago, many would tell the tale, of how they were suspected of being traitors, for making too much noise and getting the wrong attention on themselves.

But not today.

Today entailed a mammoth of an event for the history books. The future nans will tell the children the story of the great move of Kiri. Where thousands of people packed their belongings and started leaving the village.

Yes.

Today marks the day of an exodus. The people that lost their homes due to the action of the rebels, or should they say because of the negligence of their own liege. They had taken the offer handed by a mysterious messenger of the Warlord. For the time being they didn't think about their action being a desertion, no. For these small folk who were just glad to be alive, this movement was a new grasp of life to them.

And a factor that worked on this was, the name of the Warlord. The same Warlord that they had heard so much about. And today they have decided, they have decided to take the offer and live under the promise of being liberated from the bloodiness of the hidden Mist.

And one might ask, 'what of the current ruler's opinion in all this?'. The answer to that question was unexpected really.

Neglected.

They were simply overlooked. Yagura's thought process was simple for this issue. 'If they are not in the village then they can't attack me, like how they attacked me a few nights before.'

He wasn't overly happy with the villagers moving, but he wasn't feeling guilty either. His state of mind was in an odd equilibrium.

With a blank mind he watched his former subjects leaving through the west gate. To him, their destination was unknown. But he didn't care either way.

It was at high noon when most of the refuges had left and that was exactly the time that a guard entered his office.

"What of the rebels on Rokko?" Yagura asked sternly. His thought was only on the possible threats to his life. And he wouldn't let even a rumor go uninvestigated.

The guard ninja was clearly troubled. It could be seen simply from his expression. Yagura, however much insane he was, he knew that things had gone wrong.

He didn't say much and only glared at the ninja.

"Yondaime-sama… The obliteration party that you sent to deal with the rebellion… Not a single ninja has returned…

The scout party has surveyed and confirmed them to be…

Completely massacred…"

The ninja gulped as he delivered the news.

Yagura didn't seem to care that he just lost a lot of his well-trained ninjas. Instead, he started thinking about the possible implications.

'Are there really rebels that strong? Who could they be? I remember seeing Zabuza, Kenta and a few others the other day. Could it be other deserters? Other nations? Who could it be…' He started thinking furiously.

The guard ninja seemed to be counting down to his funeral, but he gathered his courage and spoke again.

"That's not all Yondaime-sama...

Some of the corpses had their blood and chakra drawn out… We believe it was- "

Before the man could continue, Yagura finished the sentence for him, "The traitor of Hoshigaki…"

He clicked his tongue as he said it. It was becoming clear for Yagura. Everything was now clearer to him.

'The opponent surely plotted in a devious way.

They had stages to the plan. They had played me while playing themselves. They have cost me a large amount of my ninjas.'

The guard ninja was still kneeling terrified. He was there to see the destruction Yagura caused the other day. And he wanted no part of that to happen to himself and his family.

He waited a few more seconds and then realized Yagura wasn't even paying him any attention and was simply looking through the window again.

A few more moments pass by,

When he heard Yagura speak in a low tone, "They will surely attack again… That wasn't their last attack."

Few Kilometers North of Kirigakure.

'Good… They had chosen the right thing to do.' I thought as I got the news from one of my clones. My clones were scouting the whole area, and they made sure the civilians were protected in their journey to my domain.

I felt so pleased that somehow a bloody smirk escaped my lips.

And of all the people… The most annoying one had to notice it…

"Young lord… Why do you smile in such treacherous time? Care to share your humor with the rest of us? We could use something to cheer about." Said an irritated Ao in a mocking tone.

'Such elementary level shit...' I thought. But I replied in a cheerful and courteous way. Well, I wouldn't call my words courteous though...

"Why of course my dear one-eyed jester-sama. I am sure you need to borrow some of my humor to fill that empty book of yours. After all your… Umm.… Unprivileged, yah, unprivileged face makes it quite hard to stay entertained. Though the words you speak are pure comedy, in my opinion my lord." I replied him in full noble courtesy as a perfect noble from my great country.

I made sure to show him that my mommy taught me proper manners. Mhmm that I did.

And right on cue, Ao was getting angry and was about to say something more annoying which I could sureeeely use against him.

But…

"Ao-sama, the scouts bring news!" A too good courier had to ruin my little fun.

"And?" This was asked by Mei instead of Ao. She had the higher authority from the Resistence force after all. And till we knew of Zabuza's marital status... *Cough* I mean his vital status. Terumi Mei was to work as the new commander of the Resistence. Which even surprised many of the rebels themselves.

But it didn't really matter to me. Instead, I wanted to know how they felt about my little tactic.

"So you are saying that many people are traveling west and their destination is Kobe? Did you ask them why there exactly?" She asked the question while taking glances at an eye-patched old man.

'Surely she thinks that it was discreetly done by my 'grandfather'. Heh I will see what she makes of it.' I thought in jubilance. Being in the shadows sure was fun.

And just as he was asked, the courier replied, "Yes Mei-sama, the said that a mysterious figure came to them last night and told them that the Warlord will take care of them as their liege had failed to do so. He had promised them freedom. And thus they followed. It seems like the Warlord's fame precedes him. Many of the common people support him."

"I see, thank you for your effort. Get back to your post. We will be arriving in enemy territory shortly." Mei replied.

I was sure that she was thinking about the response speed from the Warlord side.

Because she believes that we started for Kiri around the same time. And it was short to impossible for someone to get inside Kiri before the other.

'Well, she can think all she wants. That will keep that dangerous woman at bay. Now I need to make a new plan to lure that son of a turtle soup out of the village.

No way I am fighting that crazy ass inside the village. He has done enough harm already.'

I was brainstorming hard to find a perfect solution to our problem.

And just like that half an hour passed. And we could see the bloody village from where we stood.

It sure felt uncomfortable.

The whole ambience was misty and the air smelt of blood and shit.

Truly a wonderful place for all the wrong of the world to occur…

Our parties stopped at a foothill from where the village walls could be observed, and we could observe the wall of bloody Kiri, but they can't really see us from there.

Here the parties were unpacking and took proper measurements to camp and garrison the ninjas.

And I looked at my own party.

Well, it consisted of my merry band of minions and my godly graced servants and a few of the pirates that loooove me.

They were mainly tasked to protect gramps. As the last thing I want is being scolded by that crazy old lady at home…

And as everyone was preparing for a war. I was sitting on a log near the camp with a notebook in hand. A real one of course.

I was thinking of a way to bring that smelly little turtle out of his shell when I smelt something rather disgusting. Well I actually sensed it but well you will understand in a second...

I smirked and spoke loud enough for everyone to hear, "Well, now this really spoiled my appetite… A rotten fish, a pedo snake, a sand doll, even an earth lunatic… Oh? there seems to be one more rotten fish… No wonder it stank so much.

Sigh!

I know you guys are outlaws and all. But shouldn't you still introduce yourselves on your first meeting? Where are the manners of people these days?"

I smirked and shrugged my shoulders as everyone saw five figures come out of the foliage.

Everyone got on their battle stance, even Mei was feeling anxious seeing this group.

'I am pretty sure that she is thinking along the lines, ' Aww my gaoush, 2 of the horsemen! We are doomed.' Or something along those lines. I suppose.

Well, not that I can blame her, even Itachi and Fuzzy seemed to be on guard. Yes, they can feel it, they can feel the danger. I wonder how they will try to deal with it.

But from my point of view… I guess today marks the day that I come out of my hiding.'

I sighed as I thought on the matter.

When I and everyone heard something that we didn't expect to hear.

"Ssss. Well, well, look how you have grown, young prince. It surely is a pleasure to meet you. The supposed once in a millennia prodigy of the Fire Country. Ssss." The snake spoke like a true bastardy snake that he was.

Which made most of the people present surprised and all attention was on me. Great spotlight…

Well, at that moment, as I felt the chakra of everyone in the few miles' radius of my senses, I could only utter this...

'Damn… FUCK!'
