.
"Welcome my dear citizens. Oh! And Mei-neesama… How long were you intending on hiding this overgrown Chakra bag of yours?"
Mitsu gave an evil smirk as he glared directly at his guests.
"Oh my! I didn't realize our prince had that kind of thoughts towards this onee-chan. Hohoho~ I am such a sinful woman." Mei said in a teasing tone, but in reality her thoughts were chaotic.
'He can even sense Utakata's Chakra… What's with this child's abilities…'
Hearing Mei speak, Itachi had a shy blush on his face, while Fuzzy seemed a bit annoyed.
But the person in question himself was calm as a cucumber.
Mitsu's eyes gleamed with a sharp light as he ordered, "Enough with your nonsense woman… How long were you going to hide the six-tail's Jinchuriki?
And you *pointing at the young man*… I heard you ran away from the Water Country. Your presence here, at this time, can indicate a lot of meanings… And most of them will get you executed.
So SPEAK."
'The hell! What is this bastard doing here?… I can't believe that the rebels actually hid the six-tails right under everyone's noses? No wonder Mei acted so confident at that time…
But if I remember correctly… In the canon, this sissy didn't take part in the coup… Damn, I really can't use the knowledge from the show anymore, I have changed way too many things.
But what do they want here?… Do they really want to attack me when I am unaware? Were they trying to kill the new top dog when he was relaxing and drinking his favorite cup of tea? How despicable…' Mitsu thought as he pouted in his mind.
And right on his order, the young man stood up. He had brown hair and golden eyes. They were not as bright as Mitsu's, the same color but in a darker shade. He was wearing the rebel's combat outfit, which was basically the same as the Kiri ANBU uniform, just in black.
He turned to Mitsu and seemed to do something in silence.
And Mitsu knew exactly what he was doing... So when he saw the young man standing and looking a bit worried, he grinned.
This action made the young man fidget a bit.
'The strong and proud Utakata is feeling uneasy...' Mei thought as she observed the situation. The old man with her seemed to frown at the situation, without making it too obvious.
Utakata quickly bowed in greeting and introduced himself, "Greetings, Mitsu-sama, my name is Utakata, and as you have guessed already, I am the six-tailed beast's Jinchuriki. It's an honor to meet a progeny of Senju Hashirama."
"Ho? Earlier you seemed to be talking with the being inside you. Care to tell me what they were saying?" Mitsu asked with his usual tone.
Utakata started sweating a bit when he heard the question.
'Utakata: He even knows that we were conversing, Saiken.
Saiken: That he does… His Chakra is abnormal as well… It's not as much as mine, but close.
Utakata: That's absurd… How can a human have that amount of chakra?
Saiken: I don't know Utakata… But my gut is telling me that we shouldn't make him an enemy. Isobu's owner was way stronger than us. And yet they died miserably, I heard.
Utakata: I guess you are right. I will be weary of him.'
Utakata and Saiken conversed with each other inside Utakata's mental space.
[A/N: The name of the sluglord is Saiken]
Utakata then cleared his throat and replied politely, "We were only surprised by the Chakra you contain Mitsu-sama."
This reply answered a lot of doubts that the people in the room had.
Not many people knew that the Jinchuriki could converse with their tailed beast like that. So it was a brand-new information for them. And a surprising one at that.
When you talk about a Jinchuriki, then no one would jump to the conclusion where the host and the beast will converse in a civil manner. So the scene was surprising indeed.
The other thing that surprised them was the mention of Mitsu's Chakra.
'Even a Jinchuriki recognizes his chakra... What kind of a monster-...'
"I see!" replied Mitsu with a smile. Then he asked a peculiar question that surprised the tailed beast to the core, "So what's his name?"
'He thinks that we (tailed beasts) have names?' Saiken asked Utakata in his mindscape.
"Mitsu-sama, what makes you think that the tailed beasts have names?" This time Mei asked instead of Utakata. She couldn't hold back her curiosity.
Hearing the question, Mitsu simply looked at Mei as if he was looking at an idiot. "Everything in this world has names… That's just common sense. So six-tails… I know you can hear me… What is thy name?" Mitsu asked with another grin.
'Hehe~ Did I surprise everyone? I should keep the image of a knowledgeable prince. That should make people respect me more. And the negotiations will be easier. Hohohoho~ I am such smarts, *hypothetical headpats*, yey~'
But this time, to Mitsu's surprise, from Utakata's mouth came out a different raspy voice, "My name ish Saiken. It'sh good to mheet you, child with enormous chakra."
'The frick! It actually took over to say it's name... Damn attention hog…' Mitsu was dumbfounded. He didn't expect to hear the beast's voice now of all times.
With that bit said, the whole crowd's attention was now on Utakata again. 'Booo~'
"Alright! I will remember that... Now go back to the hole you came from…
Sigh!
Okay~ Now care to explain why the six-tails Jinchuriki is at my office? Are you trying to commit another coup?" Mitsu asked with an annoyed tone. As he asked the question, he was observing all three of their appraisal windows.
And when he was going through the old man's...
'Here I thought I would just look in to him to know his name... But who would have thought that he was...'
On the appraisal window of the old man.resting... He found something rather inte
'I am sure the old man will play his card soon.' And just as Mitsu thought,
The old advisor answered his previous question, "No, Mitsu-sama. After witnessing all that you have done, we have no complaints about you. That is why we brought Utakata here, so that you can see, we are being perfectly honest. We are not trying to hide anything from you…
This village and country has gone through too many turmoils and needs its long due peace. So please Mitsu-sama.
*kneeling*
We implore you to not cause the village and citizens any harm. We will do our best to compensate you… And support you fully."
Mei seemed a bit surprised at the old advisor's behavior but didn't say anything. Utakata was still standing and observing the prince.
Mitsu was already waiting for this, and after the old man's declaration, he found his chance.
After giving a chuckle, he uttered slowly in a chilly tone, "You are lying! Old man... Didn't anyone teach you that lying gets you killed?"
Hearing that cold tone made everyone in the room shiver.

A few minutes earlier, before the group of three walked into Mitsu's office~
[A/N: The same situation from Old Advisor's perspective.]
[Old advisor]
.
'Che! An outsider dares to take the office of the Mizukage? And this lot has been just sitting around and doing nothing! USELESS!
And that bitch even dared to say that the opponent is too strong?
A child of 10 is too strong? RIDICULOUS! Does she think I grew up eating shit?
What's more absurd is the bitch claiming that the child killed Yagura. PREPOSTEROUS!
I will see for it myself then. Just how capable this bastard from the leaf is… The son of a coward. How good can he be?
But what makes me rage more is that the Fire Daimyo didn't answer the Water Daimyo's call… His advisors even dared to say that it wasn't their responsibility. OUTRAGEOUS!
Tsk, I was waiting for that bastard Yagura to die for so long. The Daimyo has never trusted these ninjas to begin with.
He has waited for so long to inaugurate someone he could control. And now, some leaf bastard prince is sitting on that seat? IMPOSSIBLE!
Not on my watch…' I raged inside my head as I glanced at my side at the young man.
'Utakata. He wasn't as strong as Yagura. But he has a good head on his shoulder. I can't control him yet. But he would be much easier to control than that lunatic. And I am pretty sure he can take on that prince, or what not.
That bitch brought him here to make peace and negotiate… But I am more than confident in making this negotiation turn into a battlefield. Heh~
It will be all on our favor as well.
The bastard prince only has a few ninjas serving him. While the WHOLE Kiri is under our palm. I dare to say that NO Kiri Ninja will side with the leaf bastard if another battle starts. I simply don't understand why this bitch hasn't started that yet!
Well doesn't matter.
I just need to say the wrong things, for some hate to grow between the two parties. But first I need evaluate this... Prodigious prince. From what I know, this child is quite arrogant and wouldn't take Utakata's presence in a good light if I set the terms.
And if I can make them fight before he can even know of Utakata's existence... Hehe~
Now…' As I planned so far, the door to the office opened and I glanced at the young figure sitting on the other side of the Mizukage's desk.
'This is ridiculous…'
I scoffed silently as I saw the child. He seemed calm as we all walked in. I had to applaud him for keeping his calm at least.
I quickly looked over his attendants. And felt a bit pressured as I evaluated them. I might be old now, but I was one of the finest swordsmen of the Water Country on my prime. I have protected the Daimyo's family for years, until the current Daimyo sent me to this cursed place as an advisor…
And I could tell… These 2 young attendants were too much for even me to handle.
I gulped and started listening to the conversation.
And as the nonsensical conversation progressed, I started feeling more and more alarmed. The moment I heard the demon from within Utakata speak, I had to re-evaluate this… Prince. He was too knowledgeable, and didn't even put the demon in his eyes.
Soon the conversation came to a point when I was sure… The demon was not brave enough to tackle this prince. Tsk… Useless!
I needed to change my plans. And I thought of a way to get close to the prince.
'If I act like a wise old advisor who supports him, he will let his guard down eventually. And in the time he is busy figuring out how to govern, the five great Daimyos can have a meeting and settle this. For me it would be suicide to make enemies with him now...'
But I was confident on the end result. Because even though this little prince has won the war, it doesn't mean that he could simply take over as the kage… The world didn't work like that.
The five Daimyos had a co-operative system.
And even though they allow the villages to fight over resources, they will never let them totally take over. No! That would simply make the concept of Daimyos needless.
That is also how the Daimyos can not be attacked by any ninja. Or the Daimyos will work together to eradicate them.
'Heh! Unless you are stronger than the combined strength of the great nations. You should simply forget about ruling, you little bastard prince.'
So when I found the chance, I dived in and kneeled in front of the prince to appeal to him. 'Tsk. Disgraceful…'
I promised to support him and ask for his forgiveness. And when I thought that my plan was working… I heard the most horrifying thing.
The bastard prince said in a detestable tone, "You are lying! Old man... Didn't anyone teach that lying gets you killed?"
'What? Is he bluffing? He can't possibly-' Before my thought was complete, he started talking.
"Before you say anything stupid, little Daimyo's samurai… Do know… I hate people lying to me more than my engineering exams.
So before you spout some nonsense out of your asshole. Be prepared to be fed to the sharks." He completed his sentence with a threat. Then seemed to ponder something as he looked at his attendant and asked something in a muffled voice.
But seemed to get disappointed when his attendant replied his inquiry.
It didn't matter what they talked about. But the bastard knew too much about me… It seemed that I underestimated this leaf prince way too much.
So I dropped the act and said with an authoritative voice,
"You youngling… Do you really think that you can sit on this seat simply because you won the war? The world doesn't work like that!
No one will recognize you as the kage.
The country will not support your claim.
The people won't pay taxes, and the merchants will stop coming here to do business.
Unless the Daimyo recognizes your status, you are nothing but a clown sitting on a playing chair.
And just you wait… Soon, the Daimyos will meet and decide a proper punishment for you and your fire country…
Attacking another nation without a declaration of war. You have broken so many peace treaties! You have no idea what is waiting for you at the end. Che~" I snorted.
I was ready to be cut down at the moment. What I did was just to enrage the prince and give him reasons to worry about his situation. The more he doubted himself, the easier it would be to make him submit later.
At the end of the day, he was still the prince of another nation, and this can end pretty badly for their nation if he continues this. And as I waited to see the look of anger on the young bastard…
But.
It never came.
He seemed unperturbed. Relaxed even.
'Wha-at? What is this youngling thinking… Why isn't he angry like a child should be?' I thought as I felt uneasy from the relaxed appearance of the prince.
"Ah! Was that your Trump card? To scare me with the Daimyos gig? Well, got to say... I am quite disappointed.
And I got some interesting stories to share with you, old man! As you seemed to be low on information.
First of all, the Lightning Daimyo is out of commission, and the Earth Daimyo needs to worry about his own ass at the moment.
The Fire Daimyo is my daddy dearest, so no worries there. I am sure some letters from his youngest son can appease him.
The Wind Daimyo has some serious issues with the Water Country, and he rather likes the leaf village from what I heard. I highly doubt he would refuse me if I promise to share some goodies with him.
As for your, Water Daimyo… Heh~ Lets just say that he is in good hands…" He said so far and simply smiled.
I retorted angrily.
"Even if they can't punish you! The Water Daimyo will never recognize you as the Kage! And you will not receive any support from the people!"
To my surprise and despair, he said something that I never thought I would hear…
"Huh? Who said I would be the next Mizukage? Like hell, I would take this shitty job!" The prince said in annoyance and a bit of disgust.
"""Huh?!!"" Mei and Utakata seemed to have the same reaction as I.
What in the name of GOD is this youngling thinking...

[A/N: Hey there, beautiful people! You might be wondering what Mitsu is trying to do. But if you have been following properly, he wound never take the job of a Kage. He would rather put someone he trusts as the military head of his rule, while he takes over the political head like he is supposed to.
What do you think will happen to the Water Daimyo? And how do you think Mitsu will control all of this?
