Light grey sky

(This chapter will contain some spooky scenes. Not that scary, but still horror ones. If you aren't comfortable with it, please go to the next book. Thank you.)

After freeing myself, we both started walking toward the gigantic grey metal door, already opened. The scream didn't end yet. It was really loud..was it a scream of torture? Or one full of pain? My questions left me with no answers. Are we in a Sherlock movie? Do we need to search the culprits??

"So what's the plan, tiny one?"

"Let's first know where we currently are-"

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"DIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEE!!"

"Pass me the ball sucker."

"L...St..."

"MORE! MORE! MORE!"

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

Silence fell over. We both look at each other, nodding our heads at the same time. We weren't going to escape, without knowing what's causing these cat-like scream. I went ahead. We were walking in a hallway. When did a cell have hallways?? Isn't it suppose to be only bars?? White walls. Plain. White. Walls could be the only color seen. Was it build like this? To make your eyes uncomfortable? Feel empty? Thinking there is no way to escape this? Few benches could be seen. Rusty. Dirt covering everything. I bend down my knees and looked under one of the benches. What I saw horrified me. A dead body could be seen. Eyes still attached to the face. Mouth and nose intact. The victim's leg was being hugged by the left arm while the right one covered one ear. I looked closer. Dry blood could be seen on top of his dark bags. I immediately jumped up.

"Are you kidding me?"

"Dead bodies, may I guess?"

"How did you know?"

"You weren't the only one that was intrigued by those benches."

"Why did they get killed??"

"Does it look like I know?"

"You are no use. When we get out, go back studying."

"And who told you I was still going to school?"

I turned towards him.

"First if all, you just said you got dragged out from your classroom. Second of all, howold are you?"

"21."

I was shook. Cookieshook. This guy was...only 2 years older then me??

"I'm 19..."

"My interest in you just skyrocketed!"

Sloppy steps could be heard.

"SHHHHHHHH!"

"Why? It's not like there's security or

anything-"

I took him by the arm and sprinted in an open, available room. I slammed him to the wall, covering his mouth.

"Don't you dare say a word.", I whispered.

He nodded.

Footsteps. Slow, heavy, echoing ones. The breathing was very loud. I slowly shoved my hand in my pocket, looking for something sharp.

"Bingo."

I took out a pocket knife. The footsteps came closer. Faint sound could be heard.

"D..."

"Step back. It's coming."

"D...I"

Josh's breathing became itchy.

D..I...."

The clock was ticking. The shadow moved closer. The tik was heard.

"DIEEEEEEEEEEE!!" Was the last word we heard before I stabbed the person right through it's chest, accompanying with the tok of the clock. A bang could be heard. Splashes of red liquid spread around my face. I slowly removed the weapon. Blood oozing out of it. I swiped what just exploded. I just did the impossible. I killed someone in this mysterious place. Hope no security cameras we're laying around.

"Fuck. I killed someone..."

"Indeed you did."

"Am I to violent?"

"You are so violent."

"State of survival."

Both of us looked down. It was a girl...Her eyes were still open. I just killed a woman. Well, I never liked them. So it wasn't a problem. She had that pure look of pain and anger on her face. Her hair was covered with oil. Must've been days, even months before she was able to take a shower. No shoes on her feet. A one-piece Jean with a black t-shirt was what she was wearing. Was she the one screaming? Making my body shiver when I was stuck in one of those rooms? Then, another one could be heard. Guess it isn't.

"Should we put her with the others under the benches?"

"Yes we should, Josh. Let's do it quick before someone sees us."

He nodded and we immediately went to work. She was very light-weighted. I slowly took her in my arms, blood staining my shirt. It was my favorite one! We walked out of the room, going through the dark hallways. Why were there no light? I could easily fall! I then felt something brushing my leg and grabbing it. It was from one of the benches.

"WHAT IS THIS?!?", I said screaming and dropping the girl down. Two arms came and took her, pulling her away. Mumbles could be heard before completely hide back under the long chairs.

"Josh! Look under it!"

"Why me???"

"It's your turn to do something useful. We don't know where she went..."

"Let's just go."

"Fine."

The alarm suddenly went off.

"Alerting everyone in the building. Two species are currently in the loose and one is missing. I repeat, two species are currently in the loose and one is missing. They are on the last floor, in the 52nd hall. I repeat, they are on the last floor, in the 52nd hall."

Hundreds of footstep came towards us. How did they find our location? There were hidden cameras the whole time?!? I panicky abs looked at Josh.

"Guess it's time to get dirty." He said, pulling out many weapons out of his pocket.

"You stole them? How??"

"Secret, secret."

"You will always surprise me like that."

"The more you know."

I could hear guns getting loaded. Great..another obstacle to freedom.

"You know how to fight?"

"Of course I do. You?"

"I just stabbed someone. Does it answer your question?"

"Half of it."

I rolled my eyes.

"Let's get this over with, shall we? Let them alive? Or stopped their breathing?"

"Second option is the best."

Those we're the last phrases said before at least 200 guards came, full armour, gun pointing at us.

"Most killed gets cookies. Down?"

"Down."
