Endgame

When the Gods left the planet the RWBY series took place after Salem attempted to turn humanity on them, they destroyed all human life. Shattering the moon as they left the planet it was there for named remnant. While Ozpin was set to reincarnate every time he died into a new body Salem was there from the beginning.

By all mean's she was possibly millions of years old. At the same time other than her, Ozpin and the Maidens the Gods took magic along with them. The remains of the Age Of God's have long faded away and only their original homes remained. One is the Land of Darkness and the other is the home where the God Of Light had his shrine.

The latter eventually, broke away from the main convenience becoming an island drifting into obscurity. With no satellite's the chances of it being discovered in the wide oceans were minimal. And anyone who tried to seek it out would surely be killed by the Grim drawn to that place.

It was a death zone fraught with dangers, an Island bigger than Argus ten times over if not more. Yet if someone were to approach that island now, they would be left in utter shock. Stretching over fifty miles from the Island itself the ocean was frozen creating a wasteland of frigid ice.

There were no Grim in the ocean that could pierce it. As for the sky's stretching even farther than the ice was cold storm clouds. They crackled with lightning so viciously that the thunder almost sounded like a beast's roar, never-ending. Anything that tried to fly through the air would be struck down instantly.

As for the Island itself, all you would see is a winter wonderland. Chilled blue ice covered the trees and ground, hardly anything looked natural anymore let alone alive. However, the most terrifying thing would be the statutes. Well calling them statues would be a mistake after all they were Grim.

Hundreds no maybe thousands possibly more frozen solid unmoving. Some were even the size of hills, however, even bigger than that where the spikes of ice pierced up from the ground. They were everywhere and even more so was the destruction. Places, where there was no ice, had scorched earth, and littering the Island were craters and gashes.

However out of all of this the most mystifying sight you would see would be at the center of the Island. A massive dip in the earth a crater that looked like it was made by an explosion was at least a mile deep and five miles across. In this world, you couldn't do something like this with a bomb or even a Maiden's magic.

"Try again? No, I give up, you're being ridiculous."

"Yes, I'm tired of getting blown up."

"What do you mean to kill him? We already tried everything."

"I said no!"

Lying in the center of that overwhelmingly massive crater was Taella. Her clothe's which had once looked luxurious and expensive were in tatters. Her skin although still having that milky smooth consistency now had slight scars. Her body looked more defined than before, not overly muscular but well built adding to her charm.

She was seemingly talking to herself while sitting on a slab of ice raised from the ground. She was sitting cross-legged relaxing like someone without anything to do. As she did so a few minutes passed until a flash of light occurred behind her. She immediately stopped talking to herself and stood up with a smile.

"Master, did you do everything you needed to do?" The person she was talking to was obviously Shen.

Over a two-month period, his appearance had changed quite a bit. His hair had gotten wilder yet it was shorter and his eyes had from deep amber to gold. However, the most obvious thing would be his complexion. Before you could consider Shen to be a little pale and was lucky enough to be gifted good looks.

Now however he looked inhuman. If you saw him you would immediately feel something was off. It was the same feeling you would get if you saw a statue come to life, it didn't breathe and it felt cold.

"Yes. I think it's about time we headed back." As Shen said that he looked at Taella and used Inspect on her.

Physical Strength: 56

Dexterity: 92

Power: 107

Summary: The Former Mistral Branch Leader of the White Fang. Due to being introduced to the Demon's Extract, her mind has been split in two. Externally when not in battle her original personality has control, this side of her is calculative and coy in nature. On the other hand, the personality that takes over during conflict is based on her wild animalistic instincts as a Faunus and the destructive impulses from the Demon Extract. By all means, she is insane, however, the potential in her insanity is nearly limitless. She is currently excited to leave this Island.

[Any further information requires for the Inspect Function/Skill to Leveled up.]

Thank's to Shen constantly using it Inspect had Leveled up giving him access to Taella's stats and more information through her Summary. Right off the bat the most prominent of her's were her Power and Dexterity. In pure destructive power, she outmatched the Shen from two months ago no question.

Not only that but the jump in Level was in no way equal to her jump in stats. It was insane if you compared it to anything or anyone else at Level 15. And the reason for this was highlighted in her Summary. It was one of the main reasons why Shen brought Taella with him in the first place.

By all means, she is insane, however, the potential in her insanity is nearly limitless.

If the System said that about someone then Shen needed no other reason to Power Level her to all hell. And that's exactly what they did. They were so effective to the point even Shen had nearly lost track of time.

"Oh finally, I was getting sick of this place. After I froze it over everything got so bland and all the Grim stopped coming too." As she walked toward Shen the ice slab she had been sitting on shattered into crystals without a word. Hearing her say that Shen couldn't help but smile.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't happy to be leaving as well. As beneficial as this place was it weary on his mind that was the only thing that was technically still fully human.

As Taella approached Shen saw her appearance and then looked down at his own. The clothe's they had arrived here in were in tatter's, Shen's less so due to them being made of Life Fiber's but still worse for wear.

Seeing that Shen's eyes flashed as both him and Taella were enveloped from a slew of Life Fiber's shooting from his feet. It only took five seconds or so for the Life Fiber's to disappear returning to Shen's body. Their clothes had completely changed in that frame of time.

Comprised of darker color's they looked more well made this time around. Instead of them just being militaristic uniforms they even came with accessories that definitely weren't made of fabric.

"Oh, this feels so much better…" Smiling as she adored her new attire Shen glanced in the direction of the main continent. It was finally time to head back.

Lightning shot from his body surrounding him and Taella yet doing no physical harm. The next second their bodies were lifted off the ground and then they were gone. At a speed too fast for an eye to track, faster than even natural lighting.

On the same day just a few hours ago in Mistral had already gotten underway. Today was the day Shen said he would be returning after all. Whether it be Torckwick, Neo, or Sienna none of them failed in the task Shen gave theme before he left.

At the moment three of them had actually gathered in Kuchinashi. Mistral was the Capital City sure, however, the only thing of value there was the Council and Haven Academy. Both could be controlled remotely and the White Fang HQ was no longer of any importance. In the end, Kuchinashi was Shen's main base of operations.

That being said it had undergone massive changes while he was away. This was thanks to L1, L2, and Taupher who was originally in charge of The Purple Lotus. Every Syndicate in the city that was under Shen's control, which happened to be all of them, had merged with The Purple Lotus.

This created a massive superpower with nearly endless resources. They could do this now without being noticed thanks to the fact Shen could force Mistral to turn a blind eye to things accompanied by the fact it was in an isolated location in the Kingdom. All in all, it was fair to say the old Kuchinashi had been built over with the new one.

"So today's the day. Felt like it would never come." Walking through a large pair of gate-like doors similar to the ones in The White Fang HQ at Mistral was Torchwick along with Neo and Sienna. Behind them were L1 and L2 along with Taupher. Everyone was already prepared and was wearing their individual Ultima Uniforms.

"Indeed so many preparations had taken place in just two months." Remembering it all Sienna could only look up at the sky and let out an exhausted sigh. The sun was just beginning to rise as the day was beginning. As it did, it revealed the new Kuchinashi far below where they were right now.

It stretched down the mountain and plateaued in different areas as it went into the valley surrounded by massive hills and smaller mountains. It still followed the Asian aesthetic however it had practically been turned into a fortress. Massive walls lined the city's territory that dwarfed even the largest of trees.

As for where they were now, it was Shen's mansion the one that originally belonged to the Black Sheep. However, it had been massively renovated. It was already at the top of the mountain Kuchinashi was built on but now it had grown larger. It had merged with the other nearby noble houses creating one massive building.

If you were being honest it looked more like a palace than anything else. Thinking about it City was probably the wrong word now. It was a base, that consisted entirely of Shen's forces whether they be Faunus or Human.

"Looks like they're here." Torchwick glanced up ahead and so did everyone else. The sound of lightning crackling became louder as they saw a flash of light making its way towards them. The next second a gust of wind blew over them as two figure's landed on the ground.

"Wow, you guys really went all out on this place." Taella was the first to say something. Walking away from Shen she looked over the new Kuchinashi in amazement. Looking around Shen would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised. He knew two months had passed but doing all of this in such a short time frame must have been difficult.

"You all did well. I was honestly expecting only half the original result." Shen praised them as he continued to look around. After hearing Shen say that the others smiled while Sienna took a step forward and spoke with a bow.

"Master, as you requested Menagerie has fully been assimilated. Every Ultima Uniform available to us has been utilized. They're ready to move at your command." Listening to her Shen's face changed a bit as he turned around. Taking just a few steps forward you could see the entirety of Kuchinashi from here.

However, directly below where they were standing was a massive courtyard. It was filled to the brim with people, thousands if not tens of thousands of Faunus. All of them lined up information ready to move on his beck and call.

"This is only a fraction of our total numbers now. The rest are currently awaiting orders throughout Mistral." Kneeling down Sienna lowered her head.

"We the Faunus are at your complete disposal." Her demeanor had completely shifted over two months. With Sienna acting first the others followed her lead kneeling as well. They all knew exactly what to say as they spoke to Shen.

"Master, simply give us the word and it'll be done." Glancing back at them and then to the Faunus along with Kuchinashi ahead of him Shen began to grin.

It's been nearly a year but he finally reached the endgame. This was the turning point for the world of RWBY. It would later go on to be considered the bloodiest period throughout history. No one could have seen it coming, and no one could have stopped it.

Truly it was a war that scorched the world.
