Chapter 47: Big spender.

Qin Qianyu and her guards had an hour and a half reprieve before the next guest arrived.

"Mr Chi, thank you for seeing me on such short notice. I do apologise if I have inconvenience you at all."

"Not at all Miss Qin, let me thank you instead for choosing to work with us."

"Please come in, have a seat."

Mr Chi nodded happily and nodded at the guards in the room also.

Qin Qianyu poured a cup of soothing tea for Mr Chi while chatting about garden spaces.

"So it's like I said, two of the properties will be used for making an ornate garden and a herb garden, is this something you can do?"

"Yes, very much so, if you have any ideas or design you fancy, you can send us the images and we'll be able to recreate it."

"The herb garden I do, but the main garden space for the other property is it alright to leave it up to you to design?"

"Of course that's not a problem at all."

Qin Qianyu smiled brightly. The large garden and the herb garden will be located on either side of her home.

Qin Qianyu's three properties combined, form a property size of 1373 square meters. The garden will be her gift to the entire family and the herb garden will be for her apothecary.

Mr Chi retrieved the blueprints for Qin Qianyu's home and started with the outer areas that needed renovation.

The first thing Qin Qianyu wanted to make sure of was that a 20 meter high fence be erected on the back of all three properties with trees used as camouflage to blend with the natural aesthetic's of the properties.

She needed this to be done first and foremost so that Bai Saan wouldn't wander aimlessly.

She included a pool and a man made pond which was reminiscent of the layout of the studio.

A training area was also put into the plans for when she trained with Grandpa Wú.

For the house, the lower level had a spacious hall, living, dining and kitchen area. A large study, 2 bathrooms and library room and a conservatory come day room that looked towards the property neighbouring the house where the garden would be built.

She just wanted the lower floor to have an indoor outdoor flow with no impediment so that granny Liu and and Grandpa Wú could access the home easily.

An elevator was already in the house, which was good news for her.

This meant ease of access for granny Liu and the pregnant Ouyang Zihan to the other two levels of the house.

The second level had 2 studies, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms each having their own ensuite. They were separated by another living area.

Qin Qianyu indicated a wall she wanted to have removed that would lead to a balcony from the second floor living space.

The top level will have two of the rooms converted into a one large master bedroom for her parents. A private deck, a connected study and its own ensuite.

Soon the entire three storied house and all the work that would be completed on the other spaces to make her lab and Grandpa Wú's courtyard were done.

"The work on the house and property should take precedence first, but If you can also do both of the gardens as well I'll throw in a bonus."

"That wouldn't be a problem Miss Qin, we have everything right here, we just need to do now."

"Great, just so you know I have several other properties that will need your expertise in the future, I do hope to count on you again when that time comes."

"Haha, of course! Please do,"

Qin Qianyu made a payment of 500 million into the contractors account. She wanted to start work immediately.

She had told them that they have a month to finish off the house and if they can also do the two gardens in that time along with the house she'd give them an extra 200 million bonus.

But the house had priority as she planned for her and her family to move into their new home in a months time.

Just like Mr Sun, Qin Qianyu had Mr Chi sign the confidentiality agreement. And just like Mr Sun, he too was taken aback that Qin Qianyu was so young.

"Miss Qin, I'm truly amazed! I really thought that you were already an adult! You're the same age as my youngest daughter! If you came across some unsavoury fellow who tried anything! Ahh, I shudder at the thought,"

"I can see why you have these guy's with you now, that's good, treat them well so that they'll protect you better."

Qin Qianyu smiled and nodded in earnest. She would never treat anyone bad on purpose. She would also never live naively as she had in her former life.

"Well, I hope you can understand why I've had you sign this agreement. It'll be a huge pain to be bombarded with people wanting to take advantage of me because of my age. And as for the other thing, I'll do just that then, thank you for the suggestion Mr Chi,"

Me Chi was on his phone rallying his team into action as he was walked out of the conference room.

Qin Qianyu was happy with the arrangements they made, she couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces when she shows the new home to her family.

"What a busy morning! Come on everybody, let's stretch our legs and go get some lunch."

Qin Qianyu and her 6 guards walked out of the hotel and headed in a certain direction of a western restaurant.

"Places like this don't have private rooms, I hope that's fine with everyone."

Qin Qianyu asked as they entered. The men had no qualms about it.

The seven of them sat at a large table, Qin Qianyu ordered in perfect English, the others just pointed at the pictures that looked really enticing to them and chatted quietly as they waited for their meals.

After the delicious meal, Qin Qianyu was at the front surrounded by her guards settling the bill when Lin Xie called out to another guard.

"Ma Chen, isn't that your little sister Su Yin, over there?"

"Huh? . . Oh it is! Hey . . Su . . "

Ma Chen called out happily but stopped in his tracks when he saw a woman's hand swipe across her face making Su Yin's fair cheek flare up bright red.

Qin Qianyu calmed Ma Chen, and asked a few questions.

She learnt that Ma Chen and Su Yin came from the same orphanage. The pair grew up there till they both had to leave at 18, that was 8 years ago.

They both came to the capital to forge a better life for themselves. Ma Chen worked odd jobs in between doing guard duties like this and Su Yin was a personal assistant.

Qin Qianyu nodded and quickly settled the bill.

She walked towards Su Yin and the other two people she was with. The woman that had slapped her was still yelling calling the woman a shameless harlot, and every other name under the sun.

She believed Su Yin to be her husband's lover but she was his new assistant.

Su Yin had been another executive's personal assistant but as he left for a bigger company, she was passed on to this guy who was know as a womaniser.

"If you don't apologise to my wife now you can say goodbye to your promotion because I'll fire you here and now!"

"I won't apologise for something I didn't do! If anything I'll be seeking an apology from her for hitting he without cause!"

"So be it! You don't have to come in tomorrow, from today onwards you don't have a job Miss Su."

Su Yin was furious, she did nothing wrong except join her boss for lunch at his behest.

Then his wife showed up and slapped her before calling her all sorts of names. She had explained all this, but her boss said nothing and his wife went on a tangent.

"How unreasonable are you two! Don't you think that's enough now?"

Su Yon, her former boss and his wife all turned to see a beautiful, young and stylish woman standing before them.

Qin Qianyu raised her brows as she looked the three of them over after she asked.

The irate wife's face twisted and she started seething after seeing how beautiful Qin Qianyu looked and uttered loudly,

"Why don't you mind your own business!"

"It's hard to do that when you're screaming louder that the fans at an Owen Xi concert!"

Qin Qianyu replied. She then smiled as she switched her attention to Su Yin.

"Miss Su, since you've already been fired, that means you're free to be hired. Since that's the case and I've now found myself in need of a capable personal assistant would you be willing?"

"Ah, um, sure, okay!"

"Great! As a sign of good will and to forging a lasting relationship, I'll promise you two things here and now. The first one is a signing bonus."

Qin Qianyu handed Su Yin her phone and had her enter her account details. After they were entered, Qin Qianyu made a transfer.

An alert was sent to Su Yin's phone and a notification popped up. The phone was on the table and her former boss and wife happened to see a number that had 8 zeros.

"20 million! . . 20 million for a signing bonus!"

"Mhm, that's right! And the second promise is, no one will ever slap you for thinking you're trying to climb into my bed!"

" . . . "

Qin Qianyu chuckled bemusedly, Su Yin was truly surprised. She couldn't believe that at the time of being fired for nothing that she would also be hired for nothing.

"Ma Chen!"

Qin Qianyu suddenly called out with authority in her voice.

Su Yin was surprised once again when she saw her brother amble over quickly,

"Yes Miss!"

"Ma Chen, escort Miss Su to her former work office to collect her personal belongings. Have her write her formal resignation and hand it to their HR department personally. Then bring Miss Su back to the conference room by 2pm for today's investment meeting."

"Yes Miss Qin,"

"Oh Ma Chen, one more thing."

"Yes,"

"Su Yin is now my personal assistant, treat her as you would me. Do you understand?"

"Yes Miss Qin, I understand."

"Good, off you go. You have less than an hour to complete your task."

With that said Ma Chen and Su Yin left the restaurant and Qin Qianyu went back to her guards before they left.

Su Yin's former boss and his wife just stood dumbfounded at what had just occurred.

The two of them left soon after Qin Qianyu and all her men without even waiting for the food to arrive.

Ma Chen and Su Yin were making their way back to the hotel quickly after finishing up at the company Su Yu use to work for.

Su Yin sat apprehensively then turned to Ma Chen and asked nervously,

"Brother Chen, is this really real!? How can she just give me 20 million as a signing bonus? It makes no sense at all! Say! Will she really not do anything to me? She wouldn't want me to "entertain" her guest would she?"

"Haha, relax, Miss Qin wouldn't do that to you, besides, just this morning alone she spent over 2 billion of her money on things for her family and stuff. Do you have any idea what that means?"

" . . . "

"It means you are important enough to spend that amount of money on to Miss Qin."

"But she doesn't even know me!"

"Mhm, well she may not know you personally, but that doesn't mean she doesn't know good people when she sees them."

"But . . Still,"

"It's fine, honestly, this maybe the best thing to ever happen. Take this chance, you deserve it."

The siblings returned to the hotel and entered the conference room.

Su Yin was in a trance to see all of the guards lounging around like it was their own home.

"Oh! You're back, Sister Yin, come have a seat."

Qin Qianyu called out. She led Su Yin to the sofa and pulled a bottle of ointment from her bag and started applying it to the red mark on her cheek.

The ointment left a cool soothing feeling over the reddened cheek and shortly after that the redness started to fade.

The pair spoke over tea for a while, Qin Qianyu told Su Yin what had transpired this morning and handed over the contact details of Mr Sun and Mr Chi.

Then she gave a rundown of what she'll need of her and also what's expected of her.

"So that's about it, I'll not always be around so if you can sort all of these out in my stead that would really be great. Oh! And remember, if you ever have to go somewhere and you don't completely feel 100% sure, then take Ma Chen with you just to be safe."

"Yes Miss Qin,"

"Yu'er or Xiaoyu is fine you know, leave the Miss Qin business to them!"

Qin Qianyu says as she pointed out the men.

Right at 2pm there was a knock on the door it was Qin Qianyu's final meeting of the day.

"Mr Mu and honoured guests, thank you for meeting me on such short notice, I apologise in advance for doing so, but it's only because my trip to the capital was impromptu. I hope you'll forgive me if I inconvenience you in any way."

"Not at all Miss Qin, thank you for seeing us."

Qin Qianyu introduced the founders of Tek Tech to Su Yin and vice versa.

"Mr Mu I won't mince words, I've had dealings with in4mer and trust them implicitly which is why I'm willing to invest in your start up."

"We don't know that person well, but we're thankful for the help they gave."

"Well, I guess you would have paid for it, but I digress,"

"In4mer and I are of the same mine so we'll both be investing 2 billion each for a total of 4 billion yuan. 2 billion for the company and 2 billion into the research of the sensor."

After Qin Qianyu said as much the room descended into silence.

Mr Mu and his friends were reeling over the amount of money that was just offered to them by Qin Qianyu.

They had taken "in4mer's" recommendations and tried to find a chance to impress those companies into making an investment but it wasn't looking good and most of the terms and conditions they wanted in return were too overbearing and unreasonable.

It was akin to being a CEO of a conglomerate but getting paid less than the cleaner.

And the investment amount that Qin Qianyu casually threw at them was a trillion times more than the other offers.

"But we do have some terms and conditions, if any these can't be met then we won't force the matter."

When they heard that their hearts sank, they could only imagine the unreasonable with the amount of money Qin Qianyu offered.

"Can you tell us these terms and conditions now?"

"Certainly, one, Tek Tech must never work with, collaborate with, or consort with, Song Zhaoge of the Song Family, the Song family or any of their businesses, partners or subsidiaries."

"Two, the first two finished and fully functional Tek Tech sensors will be acquired by In4mer and myself first and foremost a full year before it goes to market. When it does, the sensor will only be made to order, all potential customers must be vetted by me prior to purchasing."

"And lastly, if we invest then we shall be your only investors, and the company cannot leave your hands for 15 years."

"As for the terms for investment, it'll be made in shares where I shall act as proxy for in4mer."

"So their shares would essentially be yours?"

"Yes."

The guys from Tek Tech didn't take long to make a decision.

They were all pleasantly surprised by the offer Qin Qianyu made. It was basically a win all round for them.

The sensor they were developing was just one of their projects, although good, it wasn't their best one.

And as for the Song Family and such, none of them had ever heard of them so that didn't matter.

Mr Mu offered 49% of Tek Tech's shares, which Qin Qianyu agreed to, she wasn't worried about the shares her main objective was the sensor.

The five of them all signed the contracts, Qin Qianyu transferred the investment funds into their account and they in turn transferred over the shares in digital form and Su Yin would pick up the paperwork for that at a later date.

Before they left, Qin Qianyu had them all sign the confidentiality contract regarding herself, there was a slight difference compared to the contracts the others signed.

There's had a compensation fee of 100 times the total investment made which would be 400 billion for breaching this contract.

They all vowed to forget three words for life, Qin Qian Yu.

From this day onwards, those three words will never exist in their vocabulary when speaking to anyone else.
