Rebirth Of The Divine Businesswoman

Anna took the keys and went to the garage to take her black sports car. 


It was a gift from her father on her 18th birthday because racing was one of her hobbies. 


She went to a library to rent a book related to the current affairs  in business world to plan her next plans then she went in the cafe named 'Delight treats' she came here often in her previous life too. 


It was a peaceful cafe, she chose a table close to the window to take a look outside because the weather was nice and sunny. She went to the counter to order a vanilla mocha, when she was waiting at the counter for her order to finish she suddenly saw a couple who looked familiar. 


After carefully looking she realised that it was Joannie and Ben, after taking her drink she decided to follow them. 


She went out and saw that they were going in a nearby jewellery shop. 


She took out her shades and mask and wore them that she brought with her in case their would be any problems, she also went into the jewellery shop and saw them both acting as if they were "eternal lovers". 


Joannie said," Baby, I want a set of jewellery for the banquet and you know I wanna outshine her." Anna immediately knew that she was the b**ch. Ben said in a coaxing and affectionate voice that he never used for Anna," Babe, you are already better than her in everything, she is just a pawn for our bright future together" Ben then turned to the shop attendent and said in an intimidating voice," Bring out the most recent and expensive set of jewellery that you have".


 The shop attendent looked at the couple and immediately knew that they were rich, so she brought out a set of diamond jewellery that was simple yet elegant. 


Joannie immediately agreed on buying it and Ben spent a fortune to buy it. Anna was watching the whole drama all along and thought 'How foolish was I to believe in their fake concern and love towards me that ultimately destroyed me' .


After the couple left the shop attendent looked at Anna and realised that this customer was even richer than the previous one so she immediately asked her what she needed, Anna thought for a while and then bought a sapphire necklace and matching earrings which cost her double the money of Joannie's jewellery.


She left the store and returned home with her jewellery bag and kept it in her safe, she felt that if she even her family sees it the news can reach to Joannie.


At evening as expected Joannie called her:


Joannie : Hello? Sister, Ben asked me to call you, he asked you to come to Lily resort. Apparently he has a surprise for you!! Aren't you excited? Come fast, I am waiting for you at the lodge.


Anna : I am really sorry Joannie but I have some urgent business to deal with so I won't be able to come today and the day after tomorrow is a big day for me and you know that so I am really really sorry but I won't come! 


Anna hung up on her before she could say anything because she knew that if she was on the phone for even one more second she won't be able escape from the event. 


After that she asked a maid to bring her dinner upstairs and she slept a good night's sleep.
