She stood alone on the street. Her hazel hair flowing in the early morning breeze. She went out in a plain grey shirt and grey jogging bottoms. Clara's normal routine would be to go out to walk in the park in the morning. She gave little care to what was around here and just embraced the morning breeze. She would leave the house early and would return home for 8:30am. Never a second later and everyone knew she would never be late. Ever so often she would bump into Kellin, who had a similar routine. This led to them having conversations every now and then.
The breeze running through her hair as they spoke alone. Her light brown eyes lighting up a little like the sky lighting up with the rising sun. Sometimes she felt odd as the conversations would revert to one subject. One person. He would always find a way to change the conversation to what Levi thinks about him. She found it strange how he would only be focussed on Levi and Levi only. Some strange obsession perhaps.
Both Clara and Levi lived next door to each other and would often be together. Both their parents were very close and were like family to each other. Clara was always concerned about Kellin being around Levi but she never directly told her.
"Kellin wants to meet at the library today, I'll go ahead and meet him early." Levi would say something similar when meeting up with him.
"OK, don't get too cosy without me around" Clara would say. She would sometimes say something like; "Don't get too close."
This would unnerve Levi sometimes and she would become shy around him. She didn't know how to tell her directly that something was off about Kellin. Something that made him seem possessively crazy. He knew how to act around her.
Kellin only went out early mornings for one reason. He had business to attend to, business that no one knew of. He sometimes bumped into Clara and took advantage of those situations to attempt leaching as much information out of her about Levi. He was usually with other men, shady people sometimes, but Clara wouldn't see him with them. It was his hidden secret. A dark secret.
One day he went to walk through the park and bumped into one of the men he needed to meet there. Out of their meeting area. "What do yo think you're doing here you thick idiot?" He growled to the man. "If anyone sees us, we'll be screwed! Do you understand that?"
They headed to the end of the park which consisted mainly of trees and thick bushes. In that area was an old picnic area. It was now a hangout spot for people used, but it wasn't used often. "If father knows of the little stunt you pulled, he'll shoot you through the head with no hesitation." The man gulped with nervousness as if he was standing before an ultimate superior. "This guy is your next target. Don't screw up, he's really sharp and has some strange sixth sense whenever something is feeling off." He said whilst handing over a picture of a teenage boy with green eyes. "Catch him when he's alone." The man took the picture and smirked. He placed the picture in his pocket. Kellin gave him a frightening glare. "That's all for today."
The leaf crunched behind Kellin followed by receding running footsteps. The man chased after the person through the bushed. "Hold it you pest." He yelled. He made it out the bushes to see a pale, brunette female running. He caught up enough to grab her wrist. She turned and smacked him in the head with her phone knocking him back as she managed to escape.
The park was empty like usual in the morning for her walk. Clara walked along the path and noticed an odd scene. She saw Kellin, but he was angry with a man larger than him. She found it strange how he looked almost terrified of Kellin and was walking to the area of the park where shady meetings happened. He hadn't noticed her watching. She followed from a distance whilst holding her phone in her hand instinctively. They headed into an overgrown picnic area. When she got close enough, she heard a conversation she couldn't believe. She started recording the voices with her camera. She pointed the camera at the phot and zoomed on it. When they finished, she saved and instinctively sent the video to Alex. As she left she stumbled on leaves.
The air went thick and her blood pulsed. She ran away as fast as she could. Each step building force. The man that was with Kellin caught up and grabbed her. Out of instinct self-defence, she smashed her phone on his head dazing him. She ran out the park towards home.
She ran out onto the street to hear a voice. "Why you running so fast." The voice was ahead of her. She looked up to see two golden eyes staring directly through her. She froze in fear, she couldn't run back, there was no escape. "You should know not to poke your nose where it doesn't belong." He curled his hand to a fist striking her full swing into the gut. Winded she fell to her knees unable to scream as the air was knocked out of her. "I'll let you live; just barely though." He violent swung his leg striking her in the temple. She was unconscious with no witnesses. Kellin quickly fled the scene.
She was soon spotted on the ground by an elderly couple who happened to know her. The machines beeped beside the hospital bed. Levi, Prince and Alex stood by the bed with a doctor. "She's in a coma and will be for quite a while. It is indefinite." He said gravely. After visiting the hospital, they all went over to Levi's. Alex noticed a notification on his laptop when he opened it up. From Clara.
