HOPE

"Halt!"

One of the guards around the arena shouted out to Jin as he was walking away. He turned and saw the guard walking towards him.

The guard stood beside Renji's body and hit his spear in the ground forcefully.

"What do you want?" Jin asked in contempt.

The guard sneered and pointed to the unmoving body of Renji:

"Kill him"

This brought forth disgust from Jin. He looked between the guard and the unconscious body of his friend, wondering why they would ask for something so stupid.

He had already won, hadn't he? Why would they need him to kill his opponent?

'This world isn't like mine at all. They have no mercy for the weak'

Jin clenched his fists and glared at the guard.

"No.." He sneered.

The guard was taken aback by his reluctance - evident by the widening of his eyes. But he didn't stay shocked for long, he came forward and aimed to use his spear to butt Jin in the midsection.

But Jin caught the spear that was about to hit him and squeezed down.
