ANGER IS BEST COOKED UNDER THE SURFACE OF SILENT NONCHALANCE

Quinn didn't know how long he had been there, all he knew is that enough time had passed for him to now have cramps all over his legs, but he didn't care.

A hand touched him from behind and he turned around slowly from where he was kneeling in front of Helga's body.

It was Alice who had touched him, and once he turned to her, he saw her recoil in fear.

He didn't know what his eyes looked like now, but whatever she had seen there must have scared her. He saw that the other woman was also there.

She probably came back to see Helga's dead body, he thought.

"Are you okay, Quinn?" Alice asked.

Quinn didn't answer her. He stood up from his knees and looked down at Helga.

The pipe was still in her side, and she still had the same smile on her face.

Quinn closed his eyes to it and turned his head away.

"Stay here"

He said as he began walking.

"EH? Wait, Quinn. Where are you going?!"
