A whirlpool of white whips lashed and flowed around Alice. Like a maelstrom of clouds that converged about her.
"That's too much!"
Misaka shouted in alarm while standing up quickly.
"Alice! Alice, you need to stop!"
"I don't know how!!" Alice shouted back with widened eyes. She grit her teeth and tried to get the mana around her to calm down, but it refused to answer her no matter what.
"Calm down Alice!" Misaka shouted again, "It's your mana, you don't need to fight it!"
"But...!"
"I said calm down dammit! Trust me!"
Alice nodded and instead of trying to force the mana around her away, she accepted it in. Trying to resist the urge to panic as the mana almost looked like it would swallow her.
It took a while, but slowly, the mana began to dwindle, drawing itself into her like a storm being snuffed out by new winds. And finally, it dispersed.
Alice took a deep breath and fell on her back tiredly.
