The new volume (volume 2) is going to take a few chapters to grt into the real fight scenes, and may be a bit slow at first, but I promise it's going to be spectacular to read as things even out.

My Brother Is A Warlord

The forest was silent. The moonlight filtering through the trees painting the ground in a sea of white. And then a boogyman roared.

"Run!!" Dew shouted as he urged his horse forward. He broke through a shrub along with a group of other people, and behind them, the boogymen broke an entire cluster of trees down as they advanced.

"What are these things!?" Ruby shouted. She didn't dare look behind her, knowing that it could cost her life. She heard a scream coming from behind her and knew another gladiator had been eaten.

"Just run dammit!" Petra shouted back. They were close to the entrance to the base, and she noticed the boogymen seemed even more frantic in their efforts.

They reached the path which led up to the base, and in their hurry to make it there, they never noticed that the Boogymen never stopped at the spot they always had before.
