Update...
The new volume (volume 2) is going to take a few chapters to grt into the real fight scenes, and may be a bit slow at first, but I promise it's going to be spectacular to read as things even out.

My Brother Is A Warlord

The silence stretched on for a while between the two. Jin stood there with a blank expression o his face, and Mei mirrored him with a smile.

A cool breeze blew through the open courtyard, blowing her hair out of its confines behind her hair, and she put it back easily.

Jin didn't seem capable of forming speech. He stood there like a statue, incapable of knowing what to say to her. So Mei took the first step forward

She paused when she saw Jin take a guarded step back. He swallowed slightly and finally spoke, "H-How did you get here?"

Mei felt her shoulders loosen after hearing his voice for the first time. She gave him another smile and Jin cursed his heart for skipping a beat, "We've been looking for you. We… We thought you had died"

"Oh!" Mei suddenly exclaimed as she recalled something, "There are more of us here. We were given temporary residence while we waited for you to wake up. Do you… want to meet them?"
