Chapter 33

Weeks passed Ryu was now returning to the village as he has just completed another mission. Tsunade has been working him to the bone after knowing he could use the flying thunder technique.

The village still needed fund for the repairs so he was always on the move. Jiraya contacted Shisui and is planning to meet him at a later time.

Reached the village, he could feel the tense feelings around

"Kotetus did anything happen while I was away?" Ryu asked

''I think it better if you hear it from the Hokage herself'' he said

Hearing him Ryu thought of the most likely event that can happen.

'Sasuke already left' Ryu thought

Sasuke has been becoming more desperate for more power that it even made Ryu a bit uncomfortable. He quickly teleported in front of the Hokage's offfice entering he sees his uncle talking to the Hokage with a grim expression.

"Ryu glad you are here your cousin Sasuke has gone ahead and left the village" Shukaku said when Ryu came in

"Now how did that happen?" Ryu asked

"Some of Orochimaru's men came and took him"

"How long was this?" Ryu inquired

"Several hour ago, we have already sent a team after them"

"But those are just a team fill with genin and a newly promoted chunni they won't be able to deal with the enemy" Fugaku said

"We didn't have a jonin available then and Kakashi has already gone after them"

"Don't worry we have sent a request to the sand for assistance they should have reached by now and now that Ryu is back, he should be able to reached them quicker."

"That right Ryu can you reach them from here"

"It shouldn't be a problem"

"Okay then we are counting on"

After that Ryu teleports away

Ryu from a distance watch Naruto and Sasuke fight it out. Sasuke has started using the cruse seal second form while Naruto was in his one tail mode

Ryu had already sent his clones to take care of the rest of the kids as they will need healing after all the fight they been through.

Naruto and Sasuke reach the climax of their battle as the both prepared their final attack. Ryu watches as the attacks collided

**BOOOOM**

When the dust cleared it was only Sasuke that was left standing

"Sorry Naruto but I need power and Orochimaru is the only one that can help get that power" Sasuke said as the left his head protector.

Turning around only to see Ryu standing there looking at him

"Ryu-nii"

"Are you sure you want follow this path?"Ryu asked

"Yes"

Ryu smiled then rubbed his head "aright I will wait for you to bring back Itachi so just keep following your path" Ryu said as he passed him walking toward the unconscious Naruto

"You're not going to stop me" Sasuke asked as he couldn't believe Ryu just let him go

Ryu turn and asked "you want me to?"

"Thank you Ryu-nii" Sasuke said with tears in his eyes

"Alright go before I change my mind" Ryu waved his hands

Sasuke dashes away into the forest. Ryu checked up on Naruto as he waited for Kakashi to arrive as he already felt him coming

"Took you long enough senpai!" Ryu said as Kakashi arrive

"Sasuke?" Kakashi asked

"Gone"

"Can't you find him? " he asked

"Nah he is long gone"

Well that not true as he can find Sasuke anytime he wants to.

"We have nothing to do here let's go back"

Ryu brings back everyone back to the village. After reporting about the failure of the mission Sasuke was labeled as a rouge ninja. Naruto and the rest were sad about Sasuke leaving the village. Ryu got an earful from an angry mother who knew about the fact that he left her son to go to a crazy snake.

After that the village went back to normal after a few days. Jiraya suggested to take Naruto away for training which he agreed to. Sakura and Karin became the disciple of Tsunade as they both wanted to get stronger.

For Ryu he plans to use this time to brush up on his training for both Bankai and Sage mode.

"Haa its going to be a long two years" Ryu said as he looked at the whole of Konoha from the Hokage mountain.

Am just joking. i have already started working on the shippuden part and am having a head ache writing it. so i'm going on a short(maybe) break on the book and deal with my fairy tail fan-fic.
