Jacob was confused about what were all these voices they sounded harsh like if someone was trying to speak without any saliva. he looked up and saw that the teacher in charge of making sure everyone was ok was looking at him and telling him something but there were too many voices to understand, he wished they would quiet down and so they did.
"Hey kid, you alright? I can't have you dying on my watch," said the teacher.
"Ugh, yea I'll be alright just my head hurts," said Jacob.
" 'Sigh', You kid over there come here," said the teacher.
" Yes, sir?" said Nathan while approaching them.
" Take this kid to the nurse before he passes out," said the teacher.
" Yes," said Nathan.
Nathan then picked up Jacob and started heading out of the gymnasium.
"Hey man you alright" he said.
"Yeah, I think I'll be good just take us to our room."
" But the teacher said to take you to the nurse," said Nathan.
"Yeah, yeah I heard him, but I think I'll be alright just want to rest a little."
"If you say so man," said Nathan.
Nathan then dragged Jacob to his room complaining about Nosirin crawling all around Jacob and him. When they arrived in the room Nathan let go of Jacob letting Nosirin help him by walking next to him.
What happened next surprised both of them, all the jars in Jacob's desk started shaking to the point where some of them fell and shattered into a million pieces and as they did all the bugs inside started approaching Jacob and crawling all around his body but they weirdest thing about it was that some went into his ears mouth and nose and anywhere they could. This creeped out Nathan so much that he passed out on the spot.
"What the hell," said Jacob

"Then what are you"
-I am the Entomancer system created by the God of insects TITHONUS to help you reach the peak of this world-

-an entomancer is someone who can control insects and is normally merged with a swarm of them in exchange for power-
"I'll have to figure all of this out later for now what are some mechanics that can help me."
the major mechanic the system recommends now is the swarm information or the user interface-
"User interface??" As Jacob said these words bugs started crawling into his eyes but they weren't blocking his eyesight instead they caused an interface like from a video game to come out

" Mm, I can make out the meaning of most of these, my swarm regeneration probably has to do with how many bugs are born in my swarm every hour, my swarm mass should be my mana reserve? at least if this were a game it would be."

- Buggy body: a giant insect will attach itself to you to be used as a weapon or tool depending on the insect, currently only whip is available
-Buggy eyes: the ability to see what your insects see
-Blessed: as some of the bugs in your swarm are empowered you gain their talent
-Fuse of the many: as you can be considered part of the swarm you can use the fuse the swarm possesses
- Buggy hearing: you can hear what the insects of your swarm can hear
- Bug mouth: since you are part of a swarm you can communicate with insects that appear in your swarm
" Mm ok I think I get it now and the quests are self-explanatory, but then what about the bug terrarium and Breeding ground."
-Bug terrarium: You can't have the swarm following you everywhere find somewhere safe for them to stay until you need them
-Breeding ground: Bugs need to breed and to expand your hive you will need to use this so claim territory where they can breed safely
"OK, then what's the lab?"
- Lab: Some bugs aren't useful at first, research them, experiment on them and they will provide a use
"What is the store" As Jacob said this another interface appeared in front of him and as he scrolled through it, he realized that the price for these things was his swarm for example in exchange for a giant centipede the system gave a sword or for 25 ants the system gave a set of clothes, he could buy anything from other bugs, terrariums, clothing and hygiene supplies.
" Huh well I can assume what the ability shop is, is that all system?"

" Damn this is awesome let me use some of this then"!
"First the terrarium let's put it on my table," as Jacob said this his entire table was replaced with a sturdier table with drawers on both sides with dark and humid space for insects as well as some filled with dirt for burrowing and on top of the desk there was a full glass terrarium filled with dirt driftwood and stone imitating an insects natural habitat as soon as the habitat was set up some of the insects crawling on Jacob went into the Terrarium and seemed to enjoy it. the entire Terrarium was filled with humidifiers, misters, and lights to make the perfect environment.
