Chapter 1

Melody

Back in the 1800's Melody starts walking through the back field of my house I glide around swiftly not making noise to disturb not even a twig. She drifts into a haze of her past life. All she remembered was that she was granted a second chance at life. A slight breeze tussles her lava like hair to the right side of her small framed skull. Picking and harvesting in her garden she picks up some grain corn and sweet potatoes. Suddenly a burst of wind engulfed her. Getting chilly out she whispers rubbing her arms. In the house she starts washing the harvest she gets a phone call, its her lost relative informing her that her mother in the nursing home is in fragile condition after being rushed to the hospital for having a heartattack the doctors are trying their best but can't seem to improve her condition. They said that they run tests on her mother and found traces of poision in her blood stream. Crying Melody says thank you for letting me know hangs up and says a heavy prayer for her mother she loved her dearly. Wondering what on earth why someone would poision her she feels her blood slowly adapt to her situation and hot fearsome rage flows through her now she smashes the the glass bowl full of whatever left from earlier and huffy a stifling gasp of air as if the air came from inside her and out her nose and ears. Walking to get her keys to drive to the hospital she runs to the car in a melodramatic way, as if she was saying back off to what was now her fears becoming reality.

Meanwhile the doctors tried to revive her mother but failed over cold whisper one of the doctors spits out in a whisper, but that unethical! Death is sacred. The other doctor say its the only way and to trust her. As the poision takes hold in Melodys mother a marble horrifying looking creature grases and floats around the mother and drains her bloody with huge canines paralyzing the mother before death with fear. She whispers her last breath and explained the she loved Melody dearly.
