Chapter 9

Rennette walks around the the forest feeling obsurcured by the atmosphere around her the shadows haunted her like sheep's skin crawling up her spin. Trey and Bella where teaming up after school lately. They have been warned about the shadows that haunt the forest that seem to make people lose their minds. Rennette was walking through the haunted forest slowly losing her way through the trails she started to see things that weren't there. She ran into the red wolf looking thing but it looked more like a demon ghost. Suddenly she got frienghted enough to be shook from the reaction from seeing this thing. She started running away and the thing countuined to stalk her like a grim reaper with unmeasureable steps that seem to be like the trees in the forest creeping on the heels of her feet. Luckily Meycel was just on the out skirts of the forest and heard strange noises. He knew better then to answer to the noises in there or he would lose his soul for eternity he thought dearly to himself. Melody was now a free soul. Free to do her own bidding if she chose but if chosen unwisely she maybe trapped like the other souls in the forest if she wasn't aware of the choices she made if it weren't for the forset and the clever little devils that lived in there. Melody and Meycel caught up with eachother and they both decided it was best to wait on the skirts of the forest to see if the soul in the forest had a deemed purpose for all this chaos. Hours passed later through Day and Night. Until suddenly a blood curdling growl from within the mistfying branchs swallowed whatever was in there. Meycel and Melody where both on edge they knew something deemining was on its way but they had no clue what was about to happen. Suddenly they hear the hellhound that haunted the forest for years before everyone's existence. With Rennette barely scrapping by with flesh wounds and tears at her body she escapes the forest. Melody knew this was her calling. Protecting the girl Melody came face to face with the hellhound between each of the few people she treasured the most that which of was occurring right now as in the moment. The rain seemed to be falling in slow motion as the hellhound growled deeply at Melody, its eyes flickered purple and Melodys eyes flickered red just like opposites on either side of the spectrum the hellhound knew he was fighting a hellbound excuse to chase after melody and decided to retreat off back into the murky woods. Melody knew this wasn't the last time she would see this wolf. Melody picked up the wounded girl and carried her to the schools nursing office. When she woke the aura of the completely simmered with a fuzzy light sparking electricity like the air in the office was off the scale not like the time where she asked God why Rennette went through what she went through. Fading in and out of sleep she passed out once more. Melody left Meycel to look after her. While Melody entered the woods she knew this wasn't smart but something didn't add up she thought. I must challenge that red hellhound as she determined to fix whatever was left behind and broken to serve as a lethal independent woman not as a expert warrior for Ann Mourn she was more of a free soul she couldnt serve a kingdom she needed freedom like it was an addiction. Wondering around for hours in the dangerous lurking ghostly forest she dazily scattered around in the forest until she came to and opening of a den. She didnt realize before it was too late she came across a den of a pack of wolves a family grazingly looking at Melody Hungry and salivating for a meal.

The alpha grazed across the floor of the woods are stared right into melodys eyes. Melody was now in her goddess form. As the Alpha male leaned in for the kill, Melody raised her hands. Seemingly at the same time it seemed that it now has turned into a fight for her life she couldnt didn't want to kill another living thing she has enough of death on her mind yet she wondered to herself how she was going to defeat this beast. At the same time as they attacked Melodys hand got bit and the wolves where painting from low energy from the powerful spell she can cast simply by raising her hands. The wolves and her go on for hours. Badly scrapped up Melody was running low on bloody but she didn't need mana to stay alive since she was a goddess but if you over work your goddess body she would only lose some energy for about and hour. The wolves where fighting a losing battle. Suddenly the Omega HellHound she came face to face with made the pack retreat. The wolve stalked her body in circles for about an hour before coming to grips that Melody was worthy of the Wolve pack. She fought long enough. Good she thought. The alpha wolve bend its head Underneath her hands. She was one step closer to her freedom she was now the leader of the wolve pack and gained their honor. She became one with her inner spirit. Melody was now with her ansectors and now is a native American wolven free spirited goddess. She won the first battle to test her spirit. Forever now doesnt seem to far away. What she truly won though was her freedom, rebellious at heart but true to her nature. She felt relieved.
