Chapter 2: The Frying Pan, part 3

While Wheatley and GlaDOS were dialoguing, Gordon progresses down the catwalk to a room many floors lower which contained four turrets. As Gordon jumped, Wheatley yelled the rogue bot override code. He and Gordon then progressed to a door which automatically opened to reveal the elevator descending – which they promptly jumped onto.

As Gordon and Wheatley descended, GlaDOS said, "It seems like I have been outsmarted yet again. I did not expect someone from the outside to use the rogue bot code since none of Aperture Science's employees or subjects had escaped from here. Well, you may have made it this far, but I still have a trick up my… sleeve."

"Ha, ha, GlaDOS doesn't have sleeves. Well, neither do I, but she used the expression." Wheatley said.

"See what lunacy I have to put up with. Meet me at Wheatley's lair, if you want to stop me"

After GlaDOS had finished speaking the elevator stopped at a small circular chamber. Gordon got out of the elevator and exited the room. They entered a medical bay.

"Hey, I recognize where we are! We're… far away from my lair. We will need to stop GlaDOS if we want to make it out of here without her trying to kill us with tests."

"Just tests? Oh, so you think I learned nothing from our last encounter. Well, just know, things are going to be different this time around." GlaDOS interjected.

"Oh, really? Either way, since Chell had to use a portal gun to reach my lair, we're going to have to do things differently if we want to reach 'her'. I'll need to whisper this next part so GlaDOS doesn't hear.

*whispering* "I remember that there were two bins of corrupted cores very near my lair. As long as things are working well enough, we should be able to get there from here. I just need to make myself appear to be corrupted. Let's go to this medical bot and I'll try to convince her."
