"XAMINA. XAMINA", I shout running down the stairs
"What's wrong brother? Why are you shouting?"
"And why are you panicking son?"
Oh, shit dad!
"Brother, what happened?" He asked
"Son, will you tell us what happened?" My father asked
"Reina's car brakes failed, dad and Aphile have been in an accident", I wiped away the tear that escaped my eye
"Don't worry son I will take care of everything, you go and see Aphile."
"Let's go Xamina."

"Doctor LK how is she?" I asked as he open the door
"She is out of danger now. She has some internal injuries that will take time to heal, no injuries on her head but a small bruise that will heal soon, most injuries are on her right leg, so it will be hard to walk for days. She is fine, but still unconscious", he tells us
"Can we see her?" I asked
I want to see my wife.
"Yes Xavier", he nod his head and left
I gently open the door and I see her lying on the bed sleeping. She had a bandage on her forehead, her arm, and right leg.
"Brother, she will be alright", Xamina said softly
"Yes I know, her God will never let anything happen to her. He will protect her", I sat down on the bed near her feet
The door burst open, revealing Landell, Violetta, Jessy, Eric, and Tristan. They all had shocked expressions on their face.
"How did it happen?" Tristan asked. His eyes are filled with tears.
"Well Jessy's car brakes failed", Explained Xamina
"Brother I promise I was in the middle of telling her that the car needs to go for service when she left the room", my sister explained with tears coming from her eyes.
"It's not your fault sister", she came near me and hugged me tightly
"It's okay", I brushed her hair
"Xavier nothing will happen to her right?", Asked Violetta, she was also crying
"Yes nothing will...", I couldn't finish my sentence as a phone started ringing
"Xavier that is Aphile's phone", said Jessy
She took the phone
"And it's her mother calling", said Jessy
"Answer it", said Eric
"No don't!! You know how her mother is!!", Violetta exclaimed
"Just answer the call and you will lie to her when she asks about Aphile", said Xamina
"That is a great idea", I said
"You don't know her mother!" Exclaimed Landell
"Her mother is a priestess and she has prophecy. She sees the future, probably by now she has seen us talking about this matter and I know for sure that she had seen her daughter's accident", explained Violetta
"Forget about lying to her because she will catch your lies within seconds!"
"Come on answer the call", I said
"Okay keep quiet"

"Hello Aunt", my sister greeted
She put the phone on speaker
"Hello Jessy dear, how are you?" she asked
She talks exactly like her daughter, but her voice is horse and sexy. I guess her mother is beautiful just like her.
"I'm all good and you?" Jessy asked
"I'm the same. How are your parents doing? How are your brothers doing?" She asked
"They are all great Aunt. How is everyone over there?" Jessy asked
"They are all doing alright. How are Tristan, Landell, Violetta, and Eric?" She asked
So she knows her daughter's friends?
"They are all fine Aunt they are here with me. Come and say hello guys", she motioned for them to come
"Hello Aunt", they all said in unison
"Hello, my children. How are you all?" She asked
"We are fine Aunty", Tristan said to all of them
"That's good my children", she said
"Aunt there are two other people here with us", Jessy told her
Damn she is going to introduce me to my Aphile's mother
"Where are they? Give the phone to them", she said excitedly
She came straight to us
"Hello, Aunt. I am Xamina, Jessy's youngest brother", Xamina introduced himself
"Hello Xamina, how are you?" She asked
"I'm fine thanks, how are you?"
"I'm alright," she said
Now it's my turn. What must I say? And why am I feeling nervous? Is it because I'm going to speak to Aphile's mother?
"Speak up brother it's your turn", Jessy said
"Yes my turn", I clear my throat
"Hi-hello-hi. Yes hi. Hi Aunt. I am Xavier Smith. Jessy is my younger sister", I cleared my throat again
"Why are you nervous?" She asked
"I don't know", of course, I know.
It's because I am talking to you and you are Leona's mother
"I'm a very friendly person at the same time strict, just like my daughter. Have you met my daughter? She is a little different from me, she is also strict and very kind", she said
"Yes, I have met her. Aphile, she is my sister's friend", I wish I could have said girlfriend but no I haven't asked her yet.

I cleared my throat
"Amen I guess", I scoffed and everyone in here glared at me like I said something wrong
"It was nice to meet you Xavier", she said
"Likewise Aunt", I said
"Jessy where is Aphile? Can I talk to her?", She asked
"She, she, she went to work", Jessy said
"Jessy today I had a vision. I was shown an accident and blood. I know that she will be in an accident because that vision was meant for her", she said softly
If she only knew that her daughter was already in the hospital bed.
"Don't worry Aunt, we will protect her", Jessy says trying hard to control her tears
"I know dear. I have to go now", she said
"Yes Aunt, bye"
"But before I go please, don't you ever lie to me when I ask you about her. Have a nice day guys. Bye", she hangs up
Jessy burst into tears. Landell was embracing Jessy, he was also crying
Tristan just walked out.
I need some fresh air.
I walk out of the room and the hospital doors. Everyone was looking at me, some with pity and some with seductive smiles. Some women shame women like Aphile.
