Leona:
Oh, God. He saw me naked today!
Why did I ask him to help me when I know I have so much effect on him?!!
Help me, God!
He started caressing my cheek and I must confess, I loved it. I even forgot about the memory loss ordeal!
How will I have felt if I was his girlfriend? No! I'm not his girlfriend but I can't forgive him. He cheated me
"Why are you doing this Jeremiah? Who am I to you? Don't you have a girlfriend? " I softly ask, maybe those two women are his girlfriends
"Nope, I don't have a girlfriend. I am doing this because I love you, Leona. You are the woman that I love. Did I answer your three questions?" He starts learning and I also find myself doing the same.
He capture my lips and he kissed me like he didn't want to lose me. I also don't want to lose him.
I stop the kiss but I didn't remove my lips from his
"I did not lose my memory. I was just pretending", I confessed, I'm tired of lying to him
"I know", he said and I can feel his smile
I'm shocked. How did he know? Did Jessy tell him?
I removed my lips from his and he groaned
"How did you know?" I asked still not sure how he found out
"First of all I'm a neurosurgeon and secondly I checked your results", he pulls me close by grabbing my waist
How can I be a fool? Why didn't I think of that?
"I'm sorry. Leona, I'm sorry. I did that under the influence of alcohol. Please give me another chance", he whispered into my ear and I felt a shiver down my body
"Are you that kind of a man?" If he is that kind of man then I can't be with him
"Yes, I was before that day. I promised myself that I won't do anything to hurt you. I don't want to see tears in your eyes", I know he is telling the truth
" About my wedding, the man I'm going to marry, he called me on my birthday"
I can sense anger, his are hands clenching
"Please don't be angry", I said trying hard to hold my laugh
"Why did he call you?" He asked with an attitude
"He wanted to tell me that he is not ready for commitment", I started laughing hard
His face softened and he smiled
"So that means there is no wedding?" He askt
"There is a wedding", I said and his face hardened
"Have you ever heard that the bride didn't attend her wedding, she like ran away?" I asked smiling
"Oh, so that's your plan? Please don't run away from our wedding", he pulls me close
Our wedding?? He wants a future with me?
"Leona Aphile I'm in love with you. I love you", he looked straight into my eyes
I know I love him but I don't want to get hurt.
I stayed silent for a moment
"Have you forgiven me?" He asked as he didn't get his four-word answer. I see hurt in his eyes
"I want to but I can't. What if you're going to hurt me again?" I looked away from his gaze
"I can't promise that I won't hurt you again. I have secrets, a lot of them, and I guess when you discover them you going to get hurt", he looked away
"Can you give me time?" I bite my lower lip
"Yeah, I can give you that. I love you", he kissed my cheek and left
I disappointed him again!
God, why are you putting me in this situation?

A week later.
I open the door and I didn't expect to see my stepsister standing in front of me with her two suitcases. Oh my...
"Hello sister", she said in a singing voice
"Hey, Kelly. Come in", I take one of the suitcases and lead the way.
"What happened to you? Why are you struggling to walk?"
What do I tell her? That I was in an accident and didn't inform anyone in my family?
"I was in some sort of accident, a week ago", I tell her honestly
"Oh"... Her mouth forms an O
"So that vision mother saw was directed to you?"
I slightly nod
"Come let's get you something to eat!" I smiled and I take her hand
"Why didn't you hire a maid?" She asked while flipping her hair
"I think you already know the answer to that question", I roll my eyes
"Yeah yeah. You probably want to do things by yourself", she rolls her eyes
She went straight to the fridge
"I think somebody needs help with groceries", she takes out my last avocado
"You do know that it's hard to find avocados here", I said trying to tell her not to use my last avocado
I love avocados!
"Yes, I know. I want to make an avocado sandwich. When was the last time I ate that?" She asked herself
"You are the one who is going to do groceries. I will write you a list"
"Listen here baby sister, I don't need a list. I already have a list in my mind. And you need to loosen up a bit, we are going to a club tomorrow."
Club?? Me and club??
God and club??
No!!!!

Those are two different things!
"I'm not going to that stupid club of yours!" I fold my arms and pout.
I then hear a click sound. Oh, God! She took a picture of me
"Why did you do that?" I asked sounding irritated, I don't like photos
"Because you look cute and I want to make you an album, so I have to start taking pictures", she pinch my noise and ran away
"Ouch, that hurt sister!" I shout as I struggle to run after her
"You have to stop running away Kelly", I said
"I love you sister"
And with those three words, I forgave her. She always gets her way!
Argh!
