I know for sure my mother is worried sick. Let me sneak in since I can't see anyone here.

"APHILE!!" My sister shouted. I stopped immediately and cussed, she excitedly hugged me

"Where is mother?" I whispered

"I am here!" She said showing herself

"Mother??" My voice sound shocked

I'm in big trouble, I didn't sleep at home yesterday

"So how was your date?? Tell us all the details. We've been waiting for you to come back", she took my hand and led me to the couch. I looked at Kelly and she looked as shocked as me

"Mum, did you somehow mistake vodka for water?" Kelly asked and I chuckled

"I'm perfectly fine. I'm just happy for your sister, she is in love. So Kelly when am I meeting your boyfriend?" I smiled and looked at them both

"Well, mother. Today", we turned our heads as someone cleared their throat

"Good morning mam and morning Aphile", he greeted and walked toward us

"Hey Deacon", I greeted

"Hey baby", he kissed Kelly's cheek

"Greetings to you too young man. Now, what a great pleasure to finally meet you", they exchanged a handshake

"I couldn't wait to finally see my beautiful girls' mother", mum looked at him and smile

"So tell me, how old are you?" She asked

"Add two years to her age", he pointed at Kelly.

I think it's time to sneak up and go rest in my room

"Sister, you will have a lot of enemies!" As soon as she said that she covered her with her hand. Mum gave her that look

Enemies? What enemies?

"What enemies?" I asked. I don't have any enemies.

"Well what I meant is that, Xavier is such a hot guy and there are many girls after him, so they will be your new enemies when they find out you are engaged to him and soon enough wed him", she spoke too fast.

I know that Xavier has many girls crushing on him, but, naah... He's mine

"So when is the wedding?"

She is so excited like it's her that is getting married

"Well, we haven't decided yet." I sighed.

"You gotta decide soon so that I'll start shopping", she seems to be more excited than me

One thing I don't like about shopping is that they can take the whole day, while I can take maybe, ten to fifteen minutes!

I told my friends about my being engaged to Xavier and they were happy. Very very happy, so that is why we are out here shopping, to celebrate my engagement.

I wish I was with Xavier. I miss him.

"AP how about this dress?" I rolled my eyes and sighed

"That dress is too short and Tristan won't like it when other men look at your sexy legs", I winked at her, pointing at her legs

"This dress is not for me!" She stomped her feet. She has lost her mind. I'm not wearing that.

"I don't like this dress. It's too short and Xavier won't like it", my lips forming a thin line

"But he will like it when you are both alone. It will turn him on", she said seductively

"No! " I think I said a little bit louder because the other woman is looking at me like I've gone mad

"Reina what do you think about this dress?" Something is wrong with Reina, she seemed to distance

"Well it's very beautiful and it will suit you Aphile", she smiled

"Fine! Purchase it!" I crossed my legs. It's not like I will wear it

The ride after that was a comforting silence and I enjoyed the silence. They dropped me off at my house and left.

"Aphile are you okay", I turned around to see a concerned Kelly. I quickly hugged her and cried.

"Appy what's wrong? Why are you crying?" She asked while brushing my hair softly

"Am I selfish? Yeah, I am selfish!" Why am I such a cry baby? She looked confused

"I am selfish! Xavier has done a lot of things to my body. He made me happy. He pleasured me. But me? What have I done for him? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" I quickly ran to my room and slammed the door.

After a few seconds, the door slowly opens, revealing a concerned Kelly

"You can't just leave me hanging there and not explain things to me", she said softly

"I'm scared sister. I'm scared of how I will behave when we do it. It's my first time and I think I'm gonna mess up. I'm scared if I'm not ready! Am I ready sister?"

She sat next to me and sighed

"Well Aphile, you gotta let loose. He gave you that ring for you to see that he will never leave you. After he made love to you, he won't leave you. He loves you", she wiped away my tears

"It's your body, forget about culture and traditions. Forget about mother's scolding and disappointments. Forget about everything and think about yourself and Xavier. You are ready. I'll give you the morning pill. It will..."

"Sister I know what the morning pill does", I hit her shoulder lightly.

We both laughed and hugged each other.
