CHAPTER 19

FALLING IN LOVE WITH EVIL

“Are you upset?” I ask her and she shakes her head.

“I am not upset I’m just sad. I won’t get to see my baby girl for two weeks and we'll be worlds apart.“ she says and I hug her from behind.

“I will miss you mom but I think this will be a good opportunity for you to actually focus on yourself. Your life has always revolved around me but I want you to have your own identity besides just being my mom. You have done a good job but now you need to think of yourself. Dad would have wanted you to be happy. He loved you beyond words and he wouldn’t want you to dwell in the past but to actually move on and be happy.

Please! In these two weeks go out and have fun with your friends or colleagues. Live your life! I don’t want you to be alone for the rest of your life.” I tell her and she starts sobbing so I turn her around to face me.
