“I am a mess.” He tells me and I hush him and kiss his forehead. 


“Believe it or not everything will be okay.” I say and he places his other hand on my hand. 


“I have thoughts of killing myself. Everyday I have thoughts of harming myself and the way I deal with my thoughts is just too dark! I can’t help it. It’s like I am possessed by a spirit that overwhelms me and clouds my reasoning and thinking. I..” He pauses and wipes his tears. He sits up and looks at me. 


“I love Julia and it disgusts me that even after everything that happened I still feel for her and love her.” He says and I shake my head. 


“She was after all your mother and you can’t hate her even if you wanted.” I say and he looks up. 


“I want to forget her but it’s hard to forget her when every minute of the day at every corner I see her. I see her face, I see her!” He tells me and I cup his face. 


“You shouldn’t forget but you should deal with it.” I say and he shakes his head.
