Ray and Rome are best friends, they have always been together, always have done everything together. 
Rome's feelings for Ray are of more than a friend. 
Ray has cared a lot for Rome thinking it's because of pure friendship.

Practical Love

Ray entered the office again, he saw Rome sitting and staring at the wall as if it's the most interesting thing. He can see a few bruises on Rome's neck that was exposed due to the few undone buttons of his chest, his heart pained at the scene. He was the reason Rome got hurt and he would never be able to forget this and never be able to forgive himself. 


Ray went sat infront of Rome and near the corner, he took Rome's hand in his own, this gesture took Rome out of his trance, he pulled his hand back and Ray can feel his heart clench. He knew Rome was angry at him. And he completely understood it, who wouldn't be angry after such thing? 


Ray said in voice low and filled with guilt,"Rome I am sorry for what Lacy did to you." 


Rome didn't look at Ray and turned his head away, he didn't want to look at Ray,"Leave. I don't want to talk to you Ray." 


Ray sighed,"Rome I am really sorry. What can I do for you to forgive me? Tell me I will do anything."
