Chapter 1
Rain's POV
I'm here in the mall by the foodcourt with Julie while waiting for Daphne. She's the one who invited us to go to the mall but she isn't here yet. She said that we should be here early. She's nowhere to be seen. Haaayst. My other friend, Julie is busy with her phone. So It's like I'm alone. -_-
Haaay. I should've brought my book so that I could entertain myself. Aish!!! I hate myself for being stubborn sometimes. Arrrrgh!!! -_-
Wait.... What time is it anyway?
I check my watch and 0_0 What the...!!!
"Wow, where is she?!!! It's already 2:00. She said we'll meet at 1:00. Aish that girl!!!. Grrrrr.....!!!! I'm pissed!!!" I whined
"Calm down, Rain. She's always like that. Let's wait a bit more." Julie said
"Aish!!! What on earth is she doing that she's taking this long? Haaayyy..." I said
"Maybe something urgent came up. You know her and she's a bit slow too. Hahahahahaha...!!!" Julie said while laughing
"You're right. I forgot about that. Hahahaha....!!!" I said with a smile
"Who's slow?" Someone said behind us.

"Wow at last you're here, Daph!!!" I said, ignoring her question.
"Yeah, you said we'll meet at 1:00 but it's already 2:10. You're early for the next time. -_-" Julie said.
"Peace. My mom asked me for a favor that's why I'm late. So, let's go?" Daphne explained.
I smirk. I wanna tease her for being late.
"You go ahead. We're done shopping and we already went to an arcade." I said while winking at Juls.
"Yep we already eat here in the foodcourt too." Julie butted in.
"Is that so? Ok let's go home, then." Daphne said sadly.
"Pfffft hahahahaha...!!!" Julie and I both laugh.
"What's so funny?" Daphne asked.
"Because- hahahahaha...." Julie can't finish what she's saying
"Because?" Daphne said irritated
"Pffft Hahahaha... You're cute. It's just a joke, Daphne. We won't be here waiting if we're already done" I said
Daphne's face lit up.
"Let's go?" She asked.
"Let's go, I want to eat first, I'm hungry. Julie answered.
"As always" Daphne and I both said.
Julie pouted and said "What? I've been waiting for you to come Daph and I just ate a sandwich for breakfast."
"Ok, ok. We'll eat first." Daphne said
"Yes!" Said Julie happily and we all laugh at her while heading to Jollibee.

When we get inside, we find ourselves seats first. Thankfully there's not much people inside and we find seats by the window.
"What will you eat?" Asked Julie
"Hmmm, Chicken Joy. As for the drink, I'll have Sprite." answered Daphne
"I'll have Chicken Fillet Ala King and Coke for drink." I said
"Ok, I'll order now." Julie said
And so she get up and lined up in front of the counter.
After 20 minutes, she came back with our food.
"Who'll lead the prayer?" I asked
"Daphne."answered Julie
"Ok, let's pray." Daphne answered
We bow our heads and close our eyes and Daphne starts to lead our prayer.
After that, we started eating.
"So, how are you guys these days?" Asked Daphne while eating
"Crammed in school." Answered Julie
"Me too. We have a lot to do and it's driving me crazy." said Daphne
"You have a lot to do but you invited us to go here." Julie said
"Well, I want to have a break at least. It's not good to tire your yourself up." Daphne explained
"What about you, Rain?" She asked me
"We don't have anything much to do. It's just the first half of our sem and you know how our school works." I answered
"Yeah, that's always the system." Julie agreed
We finished eating after some more minutes and then we went out.

"Where are we going now?" I asked we while walking around the mall
"Hmmm... NBS?" Daphne said not surely
"As if you're going to buy." Julie said while rolling her eyes
Daphne make-face at her as we walk towards NBS.
Smell of books filled my nostril as we enter NBS.
Books! I thought to myself. But I don't have much money with me ∪ˍ∪
Oh well, there are next times.
"What will you guys buy?" I asked them.
"I need colored papers, poster paints, and an illustration board for our activity." Daphne answered
"I didn't need anything." Julie said
Daphne went to the counter to pay for the things she got.
"Let's go to Book Sale now. I might find a cheap book there." Julie said as Daphne approach us.
Off we went to Book Sale.

As we enter the store, Julie went to one corner and seated herself on the floor.
"I'll rummage among these books. I might find some interesting ones."
We let her be. Daphne and I looked around the store.
"Hey, Renai. Look here." Daphne called out
I went to her side and checked the book she was holding.
"Oh, it's the 5th book of Harry Potter." I said
Half of it's front cover is gone but aside from that, the book is still in good shape.
"Yep, I saw it here." She pointed to a pile of books
"I'll buy that." Julie said as she approaches us
"You already have a lot of books on your hands.' Daphne said eyeing the books she is carrying.
"Actually these don't cost much. They're cheap. All these books cost 200.00 plus that one, it will be 350.00." Julie said
"They really are cheap." Daphne said
We went to the counter and we help Julie put down the books she got.
"What the hell, Julie. You're reading that kind of books?" I asked in disbelief
"Shh" she said
"Why?" Daphne asked
"Look at some of the books she bought" I told her
She looked at the books and her eyes turned like this > 0_0
"Oh my, Julie." She can't say anything
Julie chuckled. "I'm not into that 'thing', I just like the story" she said
"Yeah, right." I said
"Don't believe me then." she rolled her eyes at me
When the saleslady give Julie the books, we headed to the arcade in front.
We went to the counter to buy some tokens and we ask a crew to assist us in the videoke booth.
Julie is the first to sing then, Daphne and last is me. We take turns in singing. But when we get to our last song, all 3 of us sing.

We finished singing and we all have smile on our faces. We get out of the booth and we spent our remaining tokens on playing some games.
