Lisa stood in front of Tommy's room while it was being emptied. Angus stood beside her still not believing that Lisa is actually doing this.
Lisa orders for Tommy's room to be emptied and that everything inside will go to charity. All the clothes toys and furniture will go to charity. Lisa also decided to hire someone to erase the room's decoration she decided to decorate a different room for Alexie, it was on the other side of her room.
The room was closed and no one enterd since Tommy died. The room was only opened today so Angus can get some clothes for Alexie and now to empty it. Angus knew it was no easy decision for Lisa to make and she could already see the tears in Lisa's eyes.
They had left Alexie downstairs playing with Caesar. Lisa didn't want him to see her like this she wanted to show Alexie that she was strong and capable of protecting him. Lisa however, didn't ask Alexie to stay downstairs and she didn't realize that Alexie was near and saw the tears in her eyes.
Alexie walked to her holding her hand. That's when she looked down and saw the sadness in the cute green eyes. "Are you sad?" Alexie asked innocently.
Lisa immediately wiped her eyes with her other arm forced a smile and looked at Alexie. She wouldn't allow Alexie to see his mom crying. "No, sweetie I am not sad," Lisa said but Alexie didn't buy it.
"But you were crying," Alexie said making both Lisa and Angus smile. It was obvious that Alexie was a very caring boy just seeing Lisa crying he almost started to cry himself.
"No sweetie it's something in my eyes," Lisa said as she pent down planting a kiss on Alexie's forehead. "We will leave in twenty minutes, would you like to have a snack before we leave?" Alexie nodded making Lisa smile wider.
Alexie was way underweight and getting him fed properly was one of her priorities. She was worried yesterday when saw his skeleton-like body. She doesn't want to see Alexie like this ever again. "Can you take Alex to the kitchen and give him a snack, please?" Lisa asked turning to Angus.
"Of course," Angus said. It would be a big lie if Angus said she didn't care about the boy. Alexie had the bower to draw everyone towards him just as he caught Lisa's heart he did the same with Angus and almost everyone he had met so far. Angus extended her hand to Alexie and this Time Alexie took it immediately without looking at Lisa.
~30 minutes later~
Alexie got into the car with Lisa while Caesar refused to stay away from Alexie. They had to take him after asking Kailey's permission for it so they were 10 minutes late.
Did the 10 minutes matter to Lisa? Absolutely not, Alexie was not sad and that's what mattered to her. The drive from the mansion to Kailey's house took about 20 minutes. Alexie jumped from the car excitedly and Caesar right behind him.
"Jimmy, come inside," Lisa said leaving the car. He was used to entering parties with Lisa. He served as a way to keep her from slapping someone in the parties. But this party was different and he knew that kind of pretty well.
This was a small party that even kids can come to so he was sure that it was some kind of warm dinner party where people are acting naturally and won't discuss business that's why he was surprised when Lisa asked him to enter.
Inside the house, Alexie spotted Scott immediately he was building a tower with the lego with another three boys two of them had blonde hair, and the last one had brown hair. As Alexie approached them a German Shepherd came and destroyed everything they built.
"Jojo," Scott whined as the boy who had brown hair who looked to be the youngest started to giggle. "Bad Jojo bad," Scott said but the dog turned around and started licking him causing him to giggle.
"Alexie," someone called Alexie from behind. Alexie turned around to see Kailey smiling at him. Her smile was warm and nice that made Alexie feel at ease. "Who's your little friend?" Kailey asked pointing to the dog.
"That's Caesar, he's small but he will be really big," Alexie said making Kailey laugh a bit.
"Good, go play with the boys now, ok?" Kailey said and Alexie nodded walking to the group of boys with Caesar just beside him not leaving his side. Kailey walked back to the adults who were sitting around chatting. "Alexie looks just like you, did you realize that?" Kailey said to Lisa who was holding a cup of lemonade in her hand.
"I could say the same about Scott. According to what Alexie said I look just like his mom," Lisa said as the smile couldn't leave her face.
Meanwhile. Alexie saw the boys playing but he didn't know how to approach them. He was very shy after all. "Hi, there." A sound came from behind Alexie.
Alexie turned to see a black-haired boy with blue eyes. "Why are just standing there?" The boy asked and Alexie shrugged. "I am Mark what's your name?"
"I am Alexie," Alexie replied with a smile.
"Mark!" Scott squealed. He ran towards Mark and hugged him tightly. He then turned to Alexie with the same smiled on his face he hugged Alexie. "Look, I have a Batman shirt," Scott said showing Alexie his shirt.
"Cool," Alexie said with a big smile. At the same time, Caesar started to bark. "He says he liked your shirt," Alexie said giggling joined by Scott while Mark just smiled.
Soon enough Alexie started to play with the rest of the boys. He learned their names as well. There was Cody who's 7 Jack who's 5 Angelo who's 3 and Mark who's 10. There were two girls Angelina and Ashly both of them were 5 years old. There were a twin sister and brother Lilian and Julian also 10 years old.

Kailey's dad Jacob was sitting in the backyard with the rest of the men. He was very happy to finally have a grandson that invited two of his friends.
One of them had to apologize and the other was in the city looking for his grandson so he didn't see a problem with hanging out with a friend.
His name's Gabriel Jefferson. He had two sons one who wasn't married yet. And the other one who had a wife and a son.
His son had left his family which enraged Gabriel and then when his wife died his son took the custody of his grandson. Just when Gabrial thought everything was good and his grandson was safe. He only left for a couple of months to treat his legs to find his grandson went missing.
He had to threaten his son that if he couldn't bring his grandson back he will inherit nothing from his wealth.
"Stop being a grumpy old man already, I am sure you will find your grandson," Jacob said joking.
"Mr. Jefferson I would agree with Mr. Lawrance, I have been looking for Scott for three months only to find him in the neighbor's house. Who knows maybe you will meet your grandson today." A man with brown hair and brown eyes said. His name's Josh and he's Scott's godfather.
"I just can't believe that a father would do this to his son, the only thing holding me from sending him to jail is that he's my son," Mr. Jefferson said.
"Sorry to say this Gabriel, but your son is a scumbag." Another man said. He was Mark's grandfather he was way happy when his daughter announced her plan to adopt Mark. Ryan Smith was also a friend of Jacob Lawrance.
"Don't apologize, Ryan, I don't care about him anymore, I only want my grandson."
As they sat there Scott came running to his grandpa. The moment Jacob saw him scoped his grandson throwing him in the air and catching him again. "You missed me that much and couldn't wait huh?" Jacob said jokingly.
"No," Scott answered giggling. Scott's answer made everyone laugh even Jacob. "Mommy asked me to tell you to come back in because dinner is ready."
"Alright then gentlemen, let's get back inside," Jacob said as they all went back inside.
All the time Jimmy was listening quietly to the conversation. He had to reach Lisa before things get complicated. The moment they stepped back into the house he immediately looked for Lisa.
He found her talking with Kaily and the others. He immediately approached her. "Ms. Morgan, can I talk to you? It's a serious situation."
Lisa gives him a weird look but realizing that the look on his face only meant trouble she nodded. "What is it, Jimmy?" Lisa asked as they walked away from the others while the kids were near playing.
"Do you know Gabriel Jefferson?" Lisa only nodded in confusion. She was a famous businesses woman so she knows all the famous figures. While they both worked in a different market Lisa did know him pretty well. "I think he's master Alexie's grandfather."
Since Jimmy ran inside quickly the rest of the men were still in the backyard. While the kids were all playing in front of the door connecting the house to the backyard.
The moment Gabriel Jefferson enterd from the door he saw Alexie. "Alex!?" Gabriel asked in confusion he couldn't believe his eyes.
"GRANDPA," Alexie squealed running to Gabriel and hugging him. The man got on his knees with tears filling his eyes and took Alexie into a hug.
Lisa was standing while Jimmy cursed himself under his breath. Jimmy used to be a truck driver but he lost his job. He then struggled to keep a job to feed his family until Lisa give him a job with a salary higher than anything he could dream of.
He felt that he always owned her and that she made him a big favor and saved his family. Lisa on the other hand didn't think of it like that she just found a good man to work as her driver.
"Thank you, Jimmy. I will deal with things from now on," Lisa said calmly.
While she looked calm she was bissed. What bissed her was the condition she found Alexie in. She was looking for the moment when she would see his father teach him a lesson. All her anger was going to be directed towards that old man.
"Mr. Jefferson, can I have a word with you please?" Lisa asked. It was more like order more than it was a request.
"Ms. Morgan I didn't know you were here," he said taking a look at Lisa. He saw that under that smile there was a monster ready to tear him apart. "Um....yeah...sure."
"Alex, sweetie wait here, I will be back immediately," Lisa said softly. Her expression and tone completely changed when she talked to Alexie.
"Ok," Alexie said smiling not aware of the situation at all.
Lisa took Gabriel to a place where no one would hear them and turned to face him. Gabriel gulped seeing her expression.
"Can I ask where have you been? Your grandson was on the streets living on bread until I found him yesterday? He was starving and have malnutrition, and all of this because of your son, he abused him beaten him then throw him away on the streets. What the hell is wrong with you?" Lisa exploded in Gabriel's face.
"Please calm down, I knew nothing of what my son did. I am ashamed to call him my son. I was in the hospital for my back pain, I didn't believe him when said that Alex died but that's all. I have been looking for Alex for two weeks since I came back."
Gabriel was more pissed than Lisa herself. His son Bane had gone too far. He knew something was wrong when Bane suddenly told him that Alexie died. He started to look for Alexie after deciding that he will never send him back to live with Bane ever again.
After Gabriel explained himself, Lisa was now calm. She, however, was not going to give Alexie to anyone and she was ready to fight for him. "I understand, I have Alexie's custody, and I am not handing it to anyone, you must understand that," Lisa stated firmly.
It was the absolute truth while she was having a nice conversation with Kailey and the other ladies she received a message from her lawyer. He informed her that she now has custody of Alexie.
Lisa reminded Gabriel of her father's stubbornness and strong will. Gabriel was a wise man he wouldn't enter a losing battle, sure he may win against Lisa in court but why take a risk. Besides he didn't want to drag his grandson into a battle that he understood nothing about.
"Look, I only care about Alexie. As long as I get to see him and as long as he's happy, I don't care who has his custody."
"Well, it wouldn't be fair forbidding Alex's grandfather from seeing him," Lisa said with a smile. She was ready to fight for Alex but it seemed like a fight was not needed.
"If you wouldn't mind Ms. Morgan I would say we enjoy dinner tonight, then we can talk about what will we do to my son. I can't forgive him anymore."
They both headed back while Alexie was waiting for them. The moment he sw them Alexie ran to hug his grandpa.
Gabriel just smiled and left him up realizing the little puppy that didn't leave Alexie's side all the time starting up at them. "Is that your friend kiddo?"
Alexie nodded with a smile as they walked to the dining table. Lisa decided to leave Alexie to his grandpa for a bit. Since he kept looking for him he must have missed him alot.
"His name is Caesar, mommy got him for me."
"Well, he must be lucky to have such a great friend like you," Gabriel said tickling Alexie causing him to giggle. He tried to wiggle to get out of his grip but he couldn't.
"That's the smile, you grumpy old man," Mr. Jacob said with a smirk on his face.
"Grandpa is not grumpy," Alexie said as Gabriel was putting him down crossing his arm over his chest. Gabriel smiled ruffling Alex's hair.
He never thought that he would hate his son but thinking that he might have lost his only grandson his feelings had changed.
Everyone took his seat and Alexie sat down beside Lisa. Lisa understood that coming to dinner tonight was a good idea. Alex made some friends even met his grandpa.
"Lisa," Kailey called Lisa. "I noticed that you brought a greatdane puppy. While they are definitely a good species but they eat alot and they also play alot."
"It's good that you told me, Alex just wanted a big dog, I don't know much about dogs," Lisa admitted.
She used to have a cat that Tommy loved so much she gave it to one of her workers who wanted to take it. The cat's name was Marcy and Tommy was the one who named the cat.
After the death of Tommy, she couldn't handle even seeing the cat. That reminded her of how different Alexie and Tommy are. Tommy never wanted anything to do with dogs. He was not scared of dogs he just didn't like them.
Alexie, however, seemed to be very fond of dogs. Not just Caesar he was playing with Juju Kailey's German shepherd dog. There's still alot of things that she didn't know about Alexie. But she was going to know everything about him.
"You better not to feed him a lot of dog food. Raw meat is much better for dogs," Kailey said.
Lisa of course didn't know that but she was glad to know. Keeping Caesar healthy meant keeping Alexie happy. That's what mattered the most to her. "I will keep that in mind."
Throughout the dinner, everyone happily engaged in small talks. It was a great day for Alexie and Lisa as well. Lisa was even able to decide what school Alexie will attend.
After dinner, the kids went to watch some cartoons. It only took Scott Alexie Jack Angelo Angelina and Ashly ten minutes to fall asleep on the couch watching TV leaving Mark Cody Julia and Lilian awake. All the parents just watched the kids asleep.
"Can't let him stay over tonight? I can drive him home tomorrow," Kailey said as Lisa left Alexie over her shoulder.
"Sorry Kailey maybe another time, I am still not sure about letting him stay away from home just yet."
Kailey nodded taking Caesar's leash in her hand and following behind Lisa.
Outside Jimmy held the car's door open for Lisa. She got in laying Alexie's head on her lap. Once Kailey handed them, Caesar Jimmy got in the front seat and started the car heading home. From the window, Lisa could see Gabriel standing before getting into his car.
