That brother of Suhad, how dare he threaten me and that too on my wedding day. He was treating me like some kind of a criminal. What did he think I was going to do to his sister? If it weren't for the occasion I would have beaten him to a pulp. Then we would have seen who regretted being born! 


I entered Suhad's room. This was supposed to be our first time seeing each other and it was also supposed to be romantic. 


Well, romantic was out the window now. I just wanted to yell at this woman who was sitting there on the edge of the bed with her head bowed. I wanted to grab her by her shoulders and shake her till her teeth rattled and ask her how could her brother dare to demean me like that. 


I was fuming and I went and sat beside her, facing her.
