MAKARIA LUALHATI SANDOVAL
A soft tap in my cheek made me open my eyes. A dark silhouette manifested in front, making me remember what happened.
Island hopping. With John.
I stretch my limbs and yawned. I sat, only to noticed that I am in a bed. In the cabin of the yacht to be exact. John's figure towered above me. Bag in hand, he handed me a jacket.
"Let's go back. It's starting to dark soon."
I look in the windows, true to his word, the sun's now hiding, only the crumbs of orange, pink and yellow hue can be seen.
"Oh my, how long did I fall asleep?" I asked and immediately followed John out of the yacht.
Shivers after shivers made my whole body tense. The cold blare of the seabreeze made my hairs stand. In a second, I put on the jacket John handed.
"Just an hour or so."
