Chapter 4: They Kidnapped Me

I woke up and I still can't believe that I am alive again. Just wow, it's so eventful, first I got eaten by a dog-I am not sure if that's really a dog, Second I got Reincarnated-God gave me a second chance. It's like the protagonist adventure in novels and stories.

I wash my face and brush my hair. Then, I go to the table and see Ryan and Rose eating. When Rose see me she said "Good morning. You should eat."

"Okay." I sit in the table and eat the toast and potato. I look at them and observe them.

"Ummm can you please give me some information?" I ask them.

They both look at me. "Just ask." Ryan said.

"Ummm what is my name?" I ask them. Yesterday, I heard them called me Luca, I need my full name.

"You are Luca Yuo." Ryan answered.

"Okay. My age?"

"6 yrs. old"

"Oh. Then can you narrate how Luca died?" I said.

"Died?" They both look at me confuse.

'Ooops I just slip, Oh no.'

"I mean how did I get in coma?" I quickly change the question.

"You....its your first time going outside.-"

"First time? You mean that I have never been outside all my life? And when I just get out I quickly got into an accident?" I cut her in disbelieve.

'Gosh. Who would do that to their daughter? Oh I forgot, they are not my real parents, I still need to know what are they. They might be my adopted parents.'

"Yes. Now since it's your first time you get curious of the water that is called river and accidentally drowned. Ryan saw you and save you. Then you are in coma for 3 days." She continued.

'Now shit. I have to act like a naive little 6 years old. I feel like an idiot, why did they even confine me in here?' I thought irritated.

"Why did you even confine me in here? Why did you never let me get out all my life?" I ask them again.

"That....." Rose look at Ryan. They are talking with eyes.

"We *sigh* we're suppose to kidnapped and kill you." Ryan said.

"What!" I shouted. Shock at the Revelation.

"Yes. We are tasked to kill you. We are past assassins but we resign and get married. Rose can't have children so we didn't kill you and instead adopted you." Ryan continue.

'This is so...... COOL! I get kidnapped and my adopted parents are assassins! Wow. This is adventure.' I thought in my mind.

"This is Wow. You're cool guys." I commented at them. They look shock and confuse at me.

"You are not angry at us for kidnapping you? For taking you away from your real parents?"Rose ask.

'Of course no. That is Luca's parents not my parents so why should I be angry? And besides you treat me well, Im fine.' I answer in my mind. But my answer is far from what is in my mind. "No. I mean, I am kind of angry but not that angry. You didn't hurt me or anything. You treat me like your own daughter so why should I be angry? I am thankful for that."

"Really?"

"Yes." I nodded.

"We're really sorry for kidnapping you." Rose said.

"It's okay. You're forgiven. In one condition." I said.

"What is it?"

"I want to go outside. You can no longer trap me in here."

"Okay."

"Thank you. Now, I want to ask last question." I said.

"What is it? "

"Who are my real parents?"

"That... you are Duke Harvort's daughter." Ryan answer.

'So my real parents are Duke and Duchess? That is crazy! I guess this 2nd life is gonna be full of adventure.'

"What is a Duke?" I ask them pretending to be a 6 years old who haven't see the world.

"A Duke is.... its a political, I mean he's a politician. Hes a noble." Rose stutter.

"So.... what?" I ask them, pretending that I didn't understand anything.

"Nevermind."

"Can I go outside now?" I ask excitedly.

"Sure but don't go too far and near the river." Ryan warn me.

"Promise~" I said running outside.

When I go outside I am shock. I expect outside to have buildings or transportation. Instead I see full nature, trees, flowers and grass! Seems like Im in a province.

'I wonder, what country this is? This country is awesome! They let kids to have different hair color like me-my hair color is Dark Violet.'

I climb in a tree and feel the fresh breeze. I inhale the air. After sitting in a branch, I pick a reddish apple and eat it. It tastes so refreshing and delicious. I continue to eat it until I finish it.

I can see the beautiful view up here. The view is really full of nature. I can't even see any tricycle or transportation. Even if this is a province there should have at least any transportation. All I can see is carriages, well carriage are transportation but what I mean is modern transportations. This place is really so throwback. Am I in the past?

When the sun is setting I go back in Rose and Ryan's house. When I get back it's time for dinner. I sit in the table and eat with Rose and Ryan.

"Rose, do you have a cellphone?" I ask Rose.

"What?" She ask me back.

"Do you have a cellphone or radio?" I ask her again louder so she can hear it properly.

'I need information about what is going on in this country.'

"What do you mean?" Rose ask.

"What is a cellphone?" Ryan ask me. Both are looking at me confuse.

"You don't know what a cellphone is?" I ask them. My eyes are wide like saucers. They shake their head answering "No."

"What about Radio?"

"No" they answer again in unison.

'Why don't they know what is a cellphone? Am I really in the past? But our clothes doesn't look like clothes in ancient.'

"What date is today?"I ask them cautiously.

"Today is September 3, Year of the Goddess of the Moon, Luna."

"What!" I shouted.

'Holy Moly I think I am really in the past.'
