Gaia felt numb as she went back to her room with Aera in her crib sleeping. Her thoughts were confused as to who kept on following her and what does this person want from her. Gaia sat down on a chair as she watched her own daughter. She didn’t realize that a tear fell from her eyes as she saw the vision of her father lying lifeless in a pool of his blood.
“Are you okay, babe?” Harry asked as he approached her. Gaia didn’t respond and began to cry. Harry immediately held her tight. “I’m so sorry, Gaia. I can’t do anything to save your father. However, I am pretty sure that he wants you to be strong no matter what.”
Gaia removed herself from Harry and looked at him. “If he wanted to kill me, why does it have to be my father? Why can he kill me instead?” She continued to cry and put her head on Harry’s shoulders. Harry didn’t know what to say. All he can do right now is be with her and comfort her.
