Fifty Two

It is the day that Mr. Choi will be laid to rest. Gaia and her mother decided to lay him beside his mother, Gaia's grandmother. They brought his urn as they walked to his gravesite together with his portrait photo and flowers. Harry was holding Aera in his arms as they walked to the cemetery.

As they arrived, Gaia was comforting her mother as they placed his ashes in one of the cabinets at the cemetery. She turned around and saw Aera still sound asleep in Harry's arms. Gaia approached them, kissed Aera's forehead, and kissed Harry's lips.

"Are you okay?" Harry asked.

Gaia nodded. "I need that kiss right now." They both giggled, and she sighed right away. "I wondered how we could move on. I keep on saying that we can move on, but I am seeing mother like this makes me rethink."
