CHAPTER EIGHT

Samuel's POV

"Ok so it's a few minutes to ten and give or take we should be done by noon so we're gonna meet up for lunch at the food court. All ok with that?" Lina asked after giving us the breakdown

We all looked at eachother surprised at the short time she was willing to spend at the mall being the shopaholic she is before agreeing quickly before she changed her mind and make us stay longer which i doubt considering she has that concert to go to

"Sounds good" Aiden Liam and I all chorused making them laugh knowingly

"Alright lets shop away!!" She exclaimed leading Lydia away with her

"Ok, Furnitures first then electronics?" I asked the boys as they nodded in agreement and we made our way to start shopping

I was in the middle of checking out a bookshelf when i noticed two girls whispering and pointing at me subtly which they were failing at miserably by the way

I ignored them until one walked to the other end of the aisle with the pretext of checking out furnitures before coming down towards me just as the other girl started coming as well

Already knowing their game plan i just waited for them to strike with the absurd plan, just thinking of it made me chuckling the got the attention of Aiden that was behind the bookshelf i was looking at

"What's funny dude?"

"Just wait for it"

As they approached closer i stayed alert and ready to act

Did i tell you that their plan was absurd? Well it is and also stupid

The first one fake tripped to fall on me and being the o wise one i just took a step back without having to look at them letting her friend catch her but i guess she wasn't strong enough as they both fell at the impact

"Are you ok Ladies?" I asked them with a smirk telling them i wasn't that naive

"No we are not , can you help us up" A scratchy nasal voice met my ears as the first girl stretched her hand towards me

"I can help with that Ladies" Liam suddenly appeared giving his hand instead and by the shaking of his shoulders a tell that he was laughing meant that he saw the whole thing and hopefully recorded it

With a slight frown she accepted it probably not wanting to miss out even thou she didn't get her goal

He helped her friend up as well as they said thank you but still looking at me longingly

"The pleasure is mine ladies, you made my day"

Making them blush not knowing that he was actually mocking them

Ever since i became known for my company, i encounter such stunts on a daily basis to the extent i have mastered the art of avoidance of physical contact even subconsciously

Looking at me wistfully one last time, they left making me sigh in relief

Aiden came around at met laughing so hard

"Dude, that never gets old."

We all cracked up making people around us look at us weirdly

"It's like they never learn like for years now but they still try their luck hoping to be the lucky one" Liam said laughing in between

"Sucks to them he's taken now"

Aiden contributed wiggling his eyebrows at me suggesting that i tell him about my angel

I gave him the middle finger and walked away to continue shopping

"Hey!!! Wait up bro" He yelled coming after me with Liam following after

"I dying in suspense here put me out of my misery" He added dramatically

Damn, Selina has been rubbing off on him

"If you want to know so bad,Liam is here to fill you in and i am sure he would be happy to"

"Noooo Dude it won't be as passionate as you telling me about him"

He continued whining behind me

"Alright bro, am gonna just talk about this once cause i don't want to jinx it by talking too much about it. Got it?" I relented getting frustrated with his nagging

I proceeded to tell him about her as we continued shopping with Liam giving dramatic effects

"So you're saying that you don't know anything personal about her or even what she's doing here?" Aiden asked looking confused when i finished telling him about her and my stupid plan which he surprisingly didn't laugh about

We were at the electronics section checking out some speakers as some boy band songs were playing, i think it's the band Selina is going on about during breakfast

"Yep, just hoping she finds my card soon or fate should just bring her to me soon"

Just as the words left my mouth and I turned away from him so he wouldn't see the disappointment on my face i was bumped into by someone and that hasn't happened in ages

Losing my stamina, we both stumbled to the floor as i held her waist and kept her on top so i won't crush her and received the brunt of the fall on my back. And yes i know it's a lady from the feminine waist i was holding

Suddenly i felt a pair of soft lips on mine cutting off my thoughts making me close my eyes and kiss back immediately

WHAT THE FUCK !!!!????

But the moment was cut short as soon as i started to kiss her back

"Oh goodness I am so sorry, i wasn't looking at where i was going"

A frantic familiar voiced graced my ears

I snapped my eyes open immediately to be graced by a very familiar face that has been on my mind ever since with her eyes closed in frantic apology

Before i could grasp the fact that my prayer was just answered, she was off me in a blur and was off running with some dude going after her

I quickly scrambled to my feet running after her but i lost her in the sea of people in the aisle maze

"No no no no....this can't be happening again" I yelled in frustration pulling at my hair as people looked at me weirdly

I heard footsteps running and they to a stop beside knowing it was Liam and Aiden

"Dude what just happened, you always avoid people bumping into you especially girls. And why were you running after her? Do you know her?" Aiden was the first to start questioning me

"That was her wasn't it" He questioned more like a statement

I guess he saw her as well and remembered how she looked like

"Yeah and i just lost her again"

"Fuck"

That was the only thing Aiden could say as realization dawned on him

"Yeah .....fuck"

Sabine's POV

"Hey dimples check out this top out" Sebastian came bounding to me with a cute pink colored top with an ice cream cone on it

"Uhmm....Sweet Ice cream. It's cute i am taking it" I stated collecting the top

Several outfits and shoes later i was tired of trying out clothes

We were about to leave the dressing area when a lady called out to me from near the stall, letting Sebby and Aunt proceed to check out i went back to the stall

"Hey, sorry i just wanted to ask your opinion about this outfit"

She said twirling around

She actually looked good in the black dress and nude heels

"You look amazing like you really pulled off that look, What's the occasion to it?"

"Really !? Thank you and I actually have a concert to go to later tonight the 5SOS boys are in town and I've got a backstage pass. So i want to look my best you know?"

She started ranting looking excited

"Then this dress is perfect and it might get you lucky with one of them" I told her wiggling my eyebrows suggestively

I don't know why i was feeling comfortable with her but she just has this air of familiarity with her and she's easy to talk to

"Oh....I sure hope so like maybe Callum ...."

I cut her off squealing

"Are you serious? I like Callum as well.....He's like total bae"

"I know right !!"

She joined me laughing

"I don't know why but i enjoy talking to you and we even have the same taste and...."

She started telling me then came and hugged me

I hugged her back telling her that i felt the same way

"By the way i am Selina but you can call me Seli" She said after releasing me from the hug

"it's a nice name and i am Sabine but you can give me a nickname of your choice" I told her laughing at the end

"You have a nice name as well, It's German right? As of nickname i will think of it over time"

"Thanks, it's German . I was given the name cause of our family friend actually she's the one i am staying with"

"That's cool and i would like to hang out if want to?" She asked looking hopeful

I mean why not? she's cool and friendly

"I would love to, so friends?" I told her extending my hand for a shake

"Friends" She took my hand and shook on it

"I would give you my number but i don't have a sim yet" I told her regrettably

"No worries let me give you mine, wait here let me get my purse over there" She said rushing to a nearby couch

"Here, call me once you get a sim and soon please" She said giving me a card smiling

"Of course Seli i will besides i am about to go get one now and that reminds me my Aunt and Sebby must be waiting on me now. It was nice meeting you and enjoy the concert cause that dress rocks" I told her winking at the end causing her to laugh

"It was nice meeting you as well and sorry for keeping you here" She said hugging me once again

"No It's ok at least i got a friend out of it" I said hugging her back

I went to the checkout just in time to see Aunt and Sebby going up to pay for the clothes and shoes so i stayed back and waited for them

Selina's POV

I couldn't stop smiling as i watched her leave

I don't know why but i felt like i had known her all my life and she was easy to talk to and i just hope she calls me soon so we could hang out

Sabine....such a nice name and if it wasn't for the girl my brother has met and that he liked her already, they would have been perfect for eachother

But destiny has its own way of things i guess but whatever i am happy to be her friend

"Hey Seli what are you doing staring and smiling over there, what happened?" Lydia's voice broke my reverie

I turned to see her holding a couple more outfits that she went to pick out

"Nothing Lyds i just made a friend" I exclaimed my smile growing

"Hmm....now who's in luck to be graced with the Selina's charm?" She said bumping my shoulder

I gave her the tongues out and continued

"Her name is Sabine and she's so pretty and friendly. I forgot to ask her where she's from cause i was super excited but i know she's from Africa but i gave her my number so i am just gonna wait for her call" I started rambling

"I got it I got it Seli and I can't wait to meet her as well seeing as she has got you this excited" She said cutting me off

"Alright now lets finish shopping and damn don't you look hot girl" She said making me twirl

"I know right Sabine said i really pulled it off when i asked her opinion"

"She's got good taste then. Alright lets finish from here we have a concert to prepare for and you know how long we take while choosing furnitures"

She pulled me towards the stall to try out the outfits she brought

Sabine's POV

"Alright give me the bags i will head to the food court and wait for you guys while you go get the sim" Aunt said collecting the bags and left for the food court

"So now it's just you and me" Sebby said slinging his arm around my shoulders dragging me along with him

"Yeah yeah....lucky me" I told him sarcastically to rile him up making roll his eyes at me

Soon enough we reached the Mobile Store and finally got me a sim with an easy number

Thank goodness

Then we headed for the food court passing through the electronic aisle

We decided to window shop as we passed

"Damn those headphones are lit" Sebby exclaimed picking up a certain brand of headphone that was bigger than my head

I was about to respond when Girls Talk Boys by 5SOS came on making me scream but i was cut short by some manly squeal beside me

Turning to find the culprit i raised an eyebrow at Sebby as he continued

"Sorry i just love this song besty"

"Me too Sebby"

"So what do you say? Lets rock it out!!"

We started dancing and serenading each other

Then he went in front of me and started walking backwards dancing out the song

I took the next verse trying to play out the song as well as i came towards him pushing his shoulder as we switched side and i was now walking backwards

As i was singing the last verse i wanted to turn but i bumped into something hard found myself falling as well like literally falling

I closed my eyes at the impact expecting the coolness of the floor but all i felt was warmth and something wrapping around my hips keeping me steady on top and my lips touching something soft with the song chorus blaring in the background

The realization of what's going on dawned on me when i felt the soft stuff move trying to capture my lips

With the speed i didn't know i had i scrambled to my feet while muttering an apology and fled

I finally slowed down when i saw that i lost my way to the food court as i entered a crowded area with people moving back and forth

I was relieved when i heard running footsteps and turned to find Sebastian coming after me

"Girl.....what the hell just happened back there?" He puffed as soon as he reached where i was

I was about to answer him when he raised his hand silencing me

"No need to answer cause i was there but like what the?? You just fell on a freaking hot guy and fled. And i think he was coming after you but i lost him in the crowd"

Guess he didn't see the kiss then

"Well i didn't just fall on him, i my lips fell on his as well. And i he is hot?" I asked him causing his eyes to go wide

"Goodness....all the reason more to chase after you. He must have fallen for your lips and he was a hottie wouldn't hurt if you didn't run from him" He said wiggling his brows suggestively

"Cut it out Sebby am starving lets go " I said cutting off his silly suggestions even though deep within i couldn't help but wonder who he was especially when he felt familiar but i closed my eyes in shock and didn't get to look at him
